I hope i dont get a bad connector on the brass model. the 27.77 one. it has different serial numbers according to one of the guys in the ft forums so im pretty sure its the brass version of the 27 SS one. I just shipped today so i hope it the brass one does not have the same problems as the SS one

Don't be too paranoid, I read that there are some that don't have any issues with their threads.
I'm waiting for both brass and SS versions, we'll see how it goes.

got mine today (the $27 laser engraved from FT). everything i have threads onto the 510 just fine, SN7726. seems identical to the one i got from akavapers, except the pins aren't silver plated.

Yeah thats crazy how fast they go. I wonder if MoJo could keep up with production how far they would be right now. I know that the brass one that they just got back in stock is in the 100's right now when i get mine i will say how far they have gotten.

That is a Sigelei 19 brass Extended Kick tube, everything else is chi-you clone (without the airflow ring - not needed )
Running an 18500 battery.
The regular 19 outer tube threads are just a tad too wide to work. But it threads onto this extended tube perfectly. Weird.
I really like this setup with bottom air flow holes for the choddy.

My SS from FT is great! My Igo L doesn't grab the 510 threads until the last few threads, but it does work fine. I would like to hear people's experiences with the brass one. A guy on the FT forum said it wasn't as good as the SS version, but I don't see how that could be......
Update on my brass clone. Got tired of the look of it and tried an overnight patina + polish.
When I get my other mechs in I'm gonna try and see how deep the patina gets after a few days of ammonia/salt.

If anyone is so inclined, I'm curious how silver vs. brass pins would perform on this unit on a sub ohm coil with the same battery. I'm still waiting on watching on this one. They have the brass/brass pins at my local BnM which I've thought about buying, but between the price tag and the brass pins I'm kind of...meh
you will probably not notice a difference between brass and silver pins... however the brass will require more maintenance than silver.
Since these clone mods are so inexpensive I ordered a bunch of different ones. Will be getting a Hcigar Nemesis and Hcigar King Mod in a few days. Will also be getting the following mods from FT soon: Nemesis, SS Chi You (the laser etched one) and a Private V2 tri-tone. Funny thing is I would have purchased 3 of the above original mods if I didn't have to wait so long on lists. I am an impulse buyer and lose interest if I have to wait too long. I waited 2 months for a GGTS and eventually just purchased a MKB-TS because the wait was irritating. A lot of vape mail this week )
