Some say that it does but, I haven't found any leakage issues with mine. It's different from other types of carto tanks since it's a grommet type. The grommets are one there very tightly and that's the reason why it doesn't leak. Others like the Liquidnator depends on o-rings to prevent leakage. So, depending on the diameter of the carto. That will mean whether it has any leakage issues or not.

Also, the Chibi tank requires the user to use a syringe for filling. Which might or might not be a problem for some. I personally have no problems with it. When I want to change the carto. All I use is a small paper clip (have to put it in the middle of the grommet and polycarbonate tube) to fish the grommet out.

Anyways, if you don't have a problem with doing all of that. Then the Chibi Tank is great for the price and works just as well as any tank on the market IMO.

Those Chibies look like a good deal. I have a Liquinator, a couple of sub mini's from Mom & Pops and several that I've made myself with the grommets and tubing. I've solved all my filling problems by installing a fill port like the sub mini's have on all my tanks using a tap, drill and stainless screw.
The fill port makes filling them a breeze.
If anybody wants a parts list, let me know and I will provide links for the tap, drill and screws needed.

I'd be very interested in a parts list. Thanks! BTW, the Chibi does leak sometimes but it really depends on the size of the hole, pg/vg ratio and carto. I have a mini sub and haven't had an issue yet.

Thanks! Question though, would I really need the T-Handle wrench or can the drill be delicate enought with the drill bit?

The T-handle wrench is for the tap. I use a regular cordless drill (wish I had a drill press) for drilling the hole with the drill bit, but the tap has to be twisted clockwise as its inserted to cut the threads for the screw, then twisted counter-clockwise as you back it out. It should be done by hand, really.
Using a cordless drill with the tap wouldn't give you the control you need.

Thank you so much for your help! I agree that this little hole makes a world of difference for any tank.
