China eliquid vs US?

I have bought juice from fastech a couple of times. I'v noticed a couple of things.
Flavors may not be the same as what we here in the US might think they should be
I received Watermelon Ice. Nothing at all watermelonly about it.
Definitely Cantaloupe Ice.
Also, one thing I wonder is why do they offer very high PG%?
I've seen as high as
20VG/80PG.
What could be the reasoning behind this?

IMO,
Vaping originated in china.

The largest market is small devices; small coils, small wicks, small watts. PG heavy liquids "flow" better, carry flavor better and simulate a "cigarette experience" more realistically in those types of units.
More: Juul is 70/30. PG/VG

Flavor could be translation difference. A lot of the Water Blue color mods are actually aquamarine color. Cantaloupe is a melon so maybe got lost in translation to English.

Ty, that explains why. Didn't know vaping originated there.
Even in our small devices, mine too, we use 50/50

It also depends on which brand of eliquid.
Saying Fasttech eliquid doesn't mean anything since Fasttech doesn't make any. They "stock" several brands, one I believe is Italian.

If you are referring to the Liqua brand, the brand is Italian but the juice is manufactured in China.

Don’t no if you can get it where you are but a brand called 12 monkeys is amazing I’ve tried 5 flavours x
