these Are wise words, I agree!

Ah, Okay, You know what you are doing then! Sorry, I thought you were just buying a bunch because you were not sure what you like...

Holy vaping Batman! you have a lot of stuff. I got like 3 rda's

Lol. You buy a few a month for a few years and it all adds up haha. RDAs are the only thing I have in excess and truth be told I am going to be giving five or six away in the next few weeks.

Well in the case of metal a certain grade is what it is no matter who makes it.if they alter the blend the label must reflect that and it becomes something else. Like kanthol D for example

As for temco skip eBay and check their website they are a huge international company just covering all their bases by having an eBay store.

Many smaller orders ship free so they may offer better shipping options off eBay.

It will actually be
Temco industrial supply

I use both companies lv for wicking more so. And 250 ft rolls direct from temco. Both wires are fine I personally would rather support a local company that also employes vape enthusiests and they have been a vapors friend, we asked for more gauge variety, they made it, we asked for ribbon they started producing it ( the community not us personally)

Years ago a temco employee used to pop in once in a while. I wonder if he's still around

A thousand feet of 28 ga A1 Kanthal is right at sixty five bucks from Temco Says free shipping but that may be US only. Can not see the shipping raising the price to what the OP was paying for a purchase from China but I may be wrong.

You are wrong. 53$ from LV. If I order what I plan to it will be six dollars for shipping almost 1500ft. Temco would be 25$ no matter what amount. LV offers much faster shipping. I have been using what I believe to be there wire but apparently its actually from KP. I got a bit of 26 gauge LV from a buddy today and wrapped a dual and single set up. I did not detect ANY difference in it from KP kanthal or Temco (may be the same.) I believe it to be good wire, higher quality then some China wire for sure which is exactly what I was told. I will be going with LV for sure, it is the cheapest kanthal I have found (mind you only slightly more so then KP) and I am an experienced vaper and builder and would be the first to say something if it was funky. I may just get 3000ft.

I've used hundreds of foot of lightning vapes kanthal. You can get good kanthal and save money

or get ripped off by B&Ms for the same kanthal, but jacked way up in price. Then you get the people that are diehard temco fans, but like everything else in vaping. One company always seems "the best" when offering the same type of product.

Are you basing temcos shipping off the eBay page? Then stop

Just a FYI calling temco directly, they offer shipping by carrier of your choice. And I'm sure they would be happy to assist you in finding the lowest cost option.

I'm not trying to say they will be lowest and you can't find a better deal.

But I have a hard time believing " no matter what" since they don't even list Canadian shipping on their external site.

Personally when adding in lv' shipping costs plus being about 15 miles away i also pay tax, it isn't much of a deal over temco shipping free for a USA user. And its not fanboyism China gets enough of our money an extra dollar isn't going to kill me to support a product actually made in america for once.

And don't even go there as I was pushing LV years ago when he offered 5 freaking items on a crappy amazon storefront that didnt even have wire just wicks. and no one here even heard of the guy
I also did the same for temco. While others were paying a buck a meter at some vape shops online.

Choose how YOU want, think for yourselves, but stop harping on others choice to support who they want.

I've never considered Kanthal as something I was interested in saving money on ... like cotton or rayon ... I consider all aspects of wicking basically free

i wasnt like that before lol. Once I figured out how much actual japanese cotton was, i stopped being a victim to online shops who charged 4$ for 5 tiny squares of cotton. I went and bought a 200 square bag for 18 bucks.

I am looking at buying a large ammount of kanthal from lighting vapes. They told me it was China wire but higher quality then most China wire (whatever that means) and assured me it was A1. I am wondering, anyone use lighting vapes specifically. Would go through Temco but the shipping is crazy pricey on E Bay to Canada and way to long otherwise. Lighting Vapes I am looking at 1450ft of varying gauges for 106$ shipped, wire for life-hopefully literally lol, thats a lot a wire. So, is it as good as Temco wire? I really hope it is and doesnt taste disgusting or whatever seeing as I am getting 1000ft of my primary 24/26g and 450ft of 22, 28, 30 and ribbon haha.

If it's bad for vaping at least you'll have enough for in-floor heating

Amazon is awesome! There CEOs send me post cards from Bora Bora saying thinking of you

Or you could take up setting wire booby traps as a hobby

Yup. Cause I called Temco and word for word he told me to use the ebay store or it would take a "long, long" time to get to me. Its 25$ shipping on ebay. I placed an order at LV. I got my kanthal for cheaper, shipped cheaper and I for one am happy which is all that matters to me.

Well, I don't consider them "free", but I'm sitting on about 1500 feet of wire, two boxes of KGD, a half pound each of Tencel Top and Rayon, various diameters and lengths of silica and XC-116 and -132, and a bag of organic cotton balls.

I just put a new roof on my house last year. I'll probably be re-roofing my house before I need to re-stock my wick and wire, lol.

Haha. I stopped with the KGD just cause the Shiseido is so much easier and cheaper for me to obtain. I also have enough wick to last a long, long time. Once I get my wire order I can confidently say I wont ever re ordering kanthal in the next ten years.
