Wondering if I could take advantage of the great prices ordering direct from China if I use:

YouTube - UPS: That's Logistics - TV Spot: Chinese

LOL. Seriously, they may do a better job.

Anyway, I guess I'll just stick to USA suppliers so it doesn't get hung up in customs. Do any of you guys/gals order from China? Get confiscated how often? I've seen a few posts about "my shipment was held..." but I have no sense of the frequency. In other words: "What are the odds of confiscation?"

P.S. That dang song (I love it) has been stuck in my head all day (the English version). I googled it, found the Chinese link. Thought about ECF and ordering direct. Hence this supposedly semi-humorous post.

I order from China based suppliers all the time. I just placed an order, in fact, with HealthCabin about an hour ago. I have received nothing but excellent service and good product. I have never had a shipment held up by customs, and I receive most of my shipments from China in about 6 to 10 days. I am not suggesting that you couldn't have a run in with customs, but I never have, and I've ordered both hardware and juice.

I've received packages from both HealthCabin and Eastmall, both hardware and juice (at various times this year), with no problem. (Also receive Cell Phone supplies directly from China with no problem). I think the quantity ordered is the issue. The relatively small quantities (read 'package size') tend to go under the radar. My orders have been around $250 to save on shipping.

I have ordered many a time from Health Cabin, Heaven Gifts and East Mall and never have had a problem. Heaven Gifts selections have decreased significantly, so I have not ordered from them lately.
I also like to place my orders when they are having holidays and take advantage of the coupons they give on top of larger orders to get reduced shipping. I usually only order supplies and no e-liquid.
Just for your information, you do have to sign for your delivery.

Healthcabin seems to be the most talked about on here.......i ordered a kit and juice and it took about 5 days and no tangle with customs.....when they sent it to me the shipping receipt said something about medical hardware so i think thats how they get thru......as long as the sender doesent put "electric cigarette" or "nicotine" in the contents portion of the receipt i think you should be good

Thanks, banjo.

And P.S.

I'm discussing hardware, not juice. So juice confiscation is not an issue (although some kits have pre-filled carts).

I only mentioned the juice because that, from what I have read here and elsewhere, is what usually grabs the attention of customs - not the hardware. My China orders have run from about $60.00 to almost $300.00, so I don't know whether the size of the shipment is important or not.

my main brand is e-cig technology, cixi china (and presumably las vegas). they are number one on the FDA target list. they have a huge selection (you choose battery size, cartridge size, color, 6 different nicotine strengths, and 200 flavors including weight loss, breath freshener, and ...... -- what more do you need?) packages reach JFK within 3 or 4 days of ordering. half the packages get handed over to customs; so far all have been released. they guarantee a refund if anything gets seized. from JFK they are handed off to USPS and delivered later that same day. customer service is excellent. i made a quickie estimate based on the displacement in order numbers; looks like they're doing about $3 million a year in e-cig business but there's no way to buy stock in them. but no matter how good it is, it is still a risk ordering from china and i tell that to any of my friends who camp onto my orders.
