I just want to report that the past two months my experience with China Post Registered Airmail shipping has been fantastic. Everything I order has come in less than two weeks after the vendor told me it was shipped. Nothing has gone missing. A Vamo from Vapor Break got to me four days after it was scanned departed from China. Some microfiber towels I ordered from another website, that I cannot post on ECF because they filter it out, arrived in Thailand today six days after they were scanned departed from China and will be delivered on Monday. Other orders from various vendors were similar experiences. If a vendor tells you China Post is a problem right now do not believe them and don't pay high EMS charges. Regular airmail from China is almost never inspected or seized by customs, but EMS is frequently inspected by customs and subject to seizure if they determine it is an e-cig related product.

Guess you have been lucky as China mail is the slowest way to get anything in the US.
Why did you leave the US? You don't have to answer that if you don't want to?

Registered airmail from China to Thailand takes three weeks or less. From HC usually two weeks or less. If the vendor is in Beijing I often get packages in a week or less. HC is in a more remote area and packages have to travel from Fujian to Shenzhen international airport before they are exported. This adds about a week to the transport time.

I left the U.S. for a more stress free (sabai) life. Thais are very accepting of foreigners, unlike my experience in Japan where they tolerate foreigners but don't really want them there. The Japanese word for foreigner is actually an insulting term that translates to "outiside person." The Thai words for foreigners have no such derogatory meaning. Also, I earn less than the poverty level in the U.S., but in Thailand it is a comfortable middle class income.
