What is with this weird idea the fda makes consumed products safer and has our best interests at mind?

And what's with this weird idea that while Chinese eliquid is bad, it's the only thing we can consume that originates from China? You guys do realize a very huge amount of american food is imported from China now, right?

I have never seen, on vendors, Chinese juice that had USP certifications. Some U.S. vendors don't either, though.

One of the things that I gathered when I started was that the quality level seemed to be pretty high, and it was advertised as such. I don't know about the mindset of each vendor, though.

As a whole, I know that my juice, as a producer and vendor, would be reviewed along with others in this legal dilemma of the use of nicotine juice. I would ensure that my $%#@ doesn't stink. I would have cleanliness, handling standards, and quality safe ingredients.

And, since I have been observing in the news, that doesn't seem to be a big item that opponents seem to use as a weapon. No juice will be perfect, but it will be better than other approved products. And it seems so.

We really should support that standard in our purchases...and join CASAA :p

I see just as much crap in the USA, sorry. don't even get me started but seriously that's not much of an argument.. I have been around the block. How was your hydrofluorosilicic acid today? Alcoa. FDA approved legal prescription drugs kill more than all other drugs combined, whether it rings to you or not I'm not continuing but I could fill a page. Do you own a Chevy cobalt? The positive in that article you shared is - the Chinese shut it down! How many us companies have been shut down - plenty. US companies aren't greedy? The Chinese have every chance that we do of creating a good safe product. The good stay the bad fall away.

I sense your a little partial to the Chinese.

When it comes to putting anything into your body, always buy from a reputable source. It's impossible to truly know what ingredients are being used in e-juice since there are no requirements in place for full disclosure. Our only option is to buy from a trustworthy source and hope for the best or make your own!

Yeah, like many of us used to buy in the past from such reputable sources like Philip Morris, BAT, you name it...

Dekang and Hangsen cornered a sizeable chunk of the market as far as liquids go, a lot of pre-filled cartos got their products in them.
China is far away alright, but their local disributors got local adresses, adresses where lawyers could unload their product liability suits.

Vaping is drawing a lot of flak already, last thing they need is bad press about some more 'exotic' ingredients in their liquids.

Them two biggies know better than to saw off the branch they're perchend on...

According to the Chinese courts the Chinese SCEO is NOT a clone of the BMW X5. Apparently they are nothing alike in Chinese law.

Do your American lawyers have the ability to practice law in China? Or are you planning on hiring Chinese lawyers and hoping that works out well for you?

American courts and American lawyers have no jurisdiction there. Send all the paperwork you want, they'll just ignore it. They are protected by the Communist Chinese government (which controls all business in the country).

I tend to agree with those viewing Chinese E-juice with suspicion. With zero accountability, there are no checks or balances for them to maintain a particular level of quality. That's not to say they don't try their best, but I cannot have confidence in them like I would a USA based company does. I believe when it comes to new markets with no strict guidelines, things get overlooked more in China. I have seen Atomizers with non stainless steel screws in them, metal shavings, machine oil, all on products intended as an inhalation device. To say that such oversights aren't done on Eliquids is giving too much faith in a country that has an inferior track record as those based in the USA.

Now, that's not to say you should treat them like a plague, but if I had a choice, USA would win just for self confidence.

My luck I'll be vaping the juice from the ones that "fall away".

Mmm, you lost me here. So did the government protect the milk people by executing them? And yes we have a million lawyers regulating us here, that is why nobody would import or sell something here tainted. Suppose you are on your own if you buy direct.

I agree I try to support US products, my garage has all US vehicles in it and always has....the typical second largest purchase a person makes. I try with other things too, but China invented it and has a huge leg up on it.....because the fda is a group of 100yr olds from the 60s who are still living in the 60s when they outlawed any smoking simulation or 'safer' cigarette, etc. If I spend 10X as much on NRT do I make sure the pharma co is US based?

Buy what you want but don't make up stories.

You ever seen the regulation the EU has on stuff, do they sell it there? I bought some and thought it was good, not sure I will get more or not. The US stuff I have tends to have more nic and more flavor and I like it more but get tired of it faster.

I think in the end when they see how many people are quitting on ecigs they will have too hard a time defending their negativity towards them. If they do it is likely us who are living in the communist country and not the Chinese. Then I'll have to go slug down a monster and get a real buzz, stop messing with this weak nic.:D

Yes I've mixed a little diy and plan to do more as time permits, but you kind of have to try some flavors to figure out what concentrates you need to buy for your diy.....I have a qt of rts vg to use.

Theres not much harm using a cloned mod (usually), but e-liquid is a different story.

You don't know whats in it, what was added that is not supposed to be in e-juice at all, which flavoring, sweeteners and coloring is used and what's the grade of the pg/vg, all to cut down costs.
You can't even be sure that the brand name Chinese juice your buying is original or fake, because Chinese don't just clone american products, they clone their products too.

I for example mix my own e-liquid and know exactly what is in it.
