I sent an email to Yihi Cigar to ask if they can provide an firmware upgrade to make the firing time longer. Time will tell. I would be scared to try to hack the chip and make a brick!

The only problem with the SX350 I have is the amount of black crap they've used to cover some of the components on the board.
Other than that, it's nicely made and the solder is solid.

It's nice that they've used the correct gauge wire and it's pre-soldered for the most part. Evolv could take a leaf out of Yihi's book in this respect.

The price needs to come down for both boards.

YiHi has done a great job of making it easy to install this chip in a mod. The hard work is done for you (soldering to the board), and done well. If you clip the stock switch in favor of your own, at most you have 6 soldering points, all of which are to components and not the board.

AGREED! easy mod building to the masses. i waited for something like this chip to build my first. super easy

I got a response from YiHi:

Nice to hear from you.

Now I got what you mean. Yes that we program the that when you fire the button and puff it, it will only last 10 second the the chip will stop by itself. If you need to puff again, you need to press the button again. We can make it last for 30 second, but we will not do that. As you know that DNA30 chip always appear "too hot" after about 15 second. In order to keep the security, we will not do that. Sincerely hope your kindly understanding.
