Nominally closed up the weekend before Xmas, we'll wait for a warmup before heading back. Very glad we got the 8 yd of crushed stone in, put it on a good chunk of the driveway, so that it'll be usable in early Spring when there's the main meltoff.
Probably 2 full days of work to get the water system reconnected with the new pump, pressure
tank, sediment filters, ultraviolet filter. It's all pretty easy, but I loathe plumbing and do it slowly; the little pump house I built on the side of the house makes a lot of the work easier, and will keep it from getting hit by any spring flooding. The main house is overall in quite good shape, though I'll be tweaking some of the electrical that's not right (grounds not connected, one or two outlets with backwards wiring, trivial stuff). DW gets to do the interior painting
Main work will be the bunkhouse, with more new studs, roof supports/rafters, flooring, coating the metal roof. Nothing particularly hard, just takes time and there's no real rush. Getting the new electrical run to the bunkhouse, so I have good, usable, power, was a biggie for me, since power makes everything much easier.
Productive work, a nice change from my desk job
