Relatives are in town, until Sat after the 4th. I'll be chauffeur this weekend, couple of long day trips.

Picked up a new kayak at ....'s yesterday, a Future Beach Spirit 120, should be fun :)

Work is quite busy, and I have a bunch of home work projects stacked up. A few are indoors, but it's time for the rain to stop, get some consecutive clear days.

After 22 months of faithful service my m1a1 tank is dead, or, more accurately, down in Davy Jones' Locker :)

I flip the tank/fusion from a buzz pro to an ego twist with 801 adapter on the water. We just picked up a sweet sit on top kayak this past week. Today I was just getting arranged, PV went for a dive somewhere over a 200' stretch of water. Fresh water, shallow, but pretty murky, so a carto is likely enjoying my vanilla tobacco on cross lake :)

Anyone got a lead on a single site to scarf up a replacement twist, 510/801 adapter, and, for a hat trick, simple lanyard?

New tanks, lanyard, a replacement large ego VV battery arrived Wed. I never use a cone (needed for the lanyard collar), but always run a tank, so I pulled the collar and just run the string around the carto base, works well.

Wed night we caught fireworks down in Skaneateles, yesterday was a general get together at BIL's lake house, did some plumbing work at camp too. Water should be back and running quickly, since I decided to do a kill-and-fill, used a sawzall to pull all the old galvanized and copper gludge, am putting in new pex with sharkbite fittings.

Off and on storms, supposed to continue through the weekend. We should get in some kayak time on the lake every day; with any luck our second sit on top kayak will be in today - stable, fun, easy to get in and out of.

Hoping everyone is enjoying a long weekend :)
