I do like the white but I can only imagine how easily it get's dirty, but then again maybe I'm wrong about how quickly and easily these get dirty. Don't know until I try I guess huh.

The finish doesn't really retain dirt, but I don't really do anything that gets my hands too dirty. It certainly hasn't picked up any stains from my pockets. Any grime it does pick up can be wiped away with a paper tower (or more realistically, my shirt).

I've had my "storm trooper" white SB for a few months now. It's finish has proven to be quite durable. There is a very fine scatch that is only noticable if you are looking for it; this after several hard falls from the car or rolling off of a chair onto a tile floor. If concerned, you can always get one of the very nice leather sleeves custom fit for a SB at SerenityGear Leather
