Choosing a Battery Charger

What is the optimum output level for a battery charger? Is this a case where bigger is better or should it best match the device you're trying to charge?

What I'm getting at is I'm about to buy a Spinner 2, but only have a charger for a Halo Triton. What should I buy?

It would be safest to buy a charger made specifically for the unit you're charging. The charging and cutoff can be regulated by electronics within the battery or charger or both combined...mix and match could be bad.

It would be nice it they followed a standard but at this time....no so much...
