Hi,

My ego 1300mah batteries are starting to fail. I´ve been using the iClear cartos for a while, they last me a while: cleaning regularly + dry burns (I´m from the past)

I live in Bolivia = choices are non-existant locally.

Looking for a 1650mAh mod. planning to buy a couple of batteries + charger (samsung, lg, nightcore). However I´m clueless about tanks, rebuildables, etc.

I would like:
around $60 (without batteries, shipping in the US)
reliability (cannot ship back because $$ customs)
somewhat small (pocket size)
has replacements available
tanks many to choose from

not important:
clouds of vapor X (not important)
battery life (i´d have replacement batteries on-hand)

So are you looking for tighter draw rebuildable, rta, tanks? Single or dual battery device?

The pico is a small box mod that takes 18650 batteries(to go with your batteries, chargers, etc.)
It is very reliable. I have had mine since they came out a couple of years ago and still going strong. For the tanks I use the eGo One mega tanks, hold 4 ml of juice and have rebuildable coils, which are extremely easy to rewick and rebuild. TBH, if you dry burn the coil and just keep rewicking with rayon or cotton the coils last a really long time. The CLR coils costs the same as their stock coil but taste so much better.
Here are some links to show you what I am talking about.
Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank these do not come with a coil.

Joyetech CLR Coils (5 pack)

If you like a tight draw then pick the 1.0 ohm coil
If you want more air pick the 0-.50 ohm coil

This is for the pico battery. Discount code is turkey for 30% of off $32.00

For the battery only
Eleaf iStick PICO Simple Kit - $32.00 : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes
They offer free shipping over $14.00

Just have a look to see what you think.

Let us know if you want to find something else to look at....

Right now I´m vaping the life out of my iClear cartos. They work fine at times but no reliably. E-juice not a problem for a while.

If you we´re stuck on an island with a box of hangsen liquids, 4 18650 batteries and an outlet, which mod would you choose.

I prefer dual 18650 myself. What form do you prefer, smallish or more substantial? I enjoy the Think Vape Exus Ark. Small for a dual and comfortable in the hand. Some other good smaller duals are Wismec Ravage and Eleaf Invoke. My cousin has both the Ravage and Eleaf Ikonn, she likes both and they are sturdy.

Form is not a concern, I´ll use it privately most of the time. It might be somewhat intimidating first (I´m used to an Ego type battery + carto), I´m sure I´ll get used to it in no time.

I´ll take a look at your suggestions!, could you point me a store you like in the Us?

There are going to be many questions from us to help you. When you come back, plan on staying awhile for that. You can simply read other things on the forum here while we post.

It´s overwhelming and difficult to narrow what I´m looking for.
I usually search for similar queries and answered questions. It´s just too much new stuff for me right now..

VaporDNA , code DNA Should still be good for 5% off

Eciggity, code TENOFF good for 10% off

My Freedom Smokes, code NEWMFS15 should work if you are a first time customer for 15% off

You'll need to ask if they ship to your country. All have customer service links if you scroll down to the bottom of the home page. This will be your biggest challenge shopping at US sites. Have you considered FastTech out of China? They ship to most countries.

Looking for a 1650mAh mod.
Mod:
Eleaf iStick 40W TC Kit
re: Eleaf iStick 40W TC Base Kit - iPower, Aster, 40W, 60W - Eleaf - Mods
Vape Shop Online E-Cigarette & E-liquid Best For Sale
I have been vaping the same internal Eleaf Istick TC40W mod for 2-3 years and could not be happier. By using an internal battery mod, you could save money by not having to purchase:
back up batterie(s), carrying case, volt meter(s), wraps, charger(s) (backup), battery Do's and Don'ts (Much higher learning curve not to mention the batteries themselves).
Tanks I would check out:
The Tron-S, with the CLR coils, the EHpro Kayfun Lite V2, Kayfun V5, and the Kanger Subtank Mini with the RBA/purch option.
YFTK Kayfun/SXK KF Prime Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer are also said to be a good choice.

Skystar looks like beautiful bar of soap ;) but is much bigger heavier and bulkier... I ordered Cuboid Mini because it is small/ slim enough to put in shirt pocket but has very large but simple screen read outs... I think touch screens are not as reliable as regular screens... I paid only $17.01 and shipping from US warehouse is free...with Skystar you have to add cost of 2 battery cells plus shipping charge... so for price of one Skystar you can have two Cuboids...

here its the same either way (including a pack of coils) from the supplier i use anyway.
ive always been a joyetech fan; but to stay within my budget; and get a pack of coils; the only tank that works is the exceed air plus tank... i've never been a cloud womper, but i dont like the concept of being trapped below 35 watts xD

If you are high wattage user Skystar is definitely better option for you although Cuboid can go up to 80 watts... I mostly vape in 12-18 watt range and use mostly RTAs so coils are not an issue... it cost me couple cents to make a coil but some 5 pack drop in coils cost almost as much as mods we are talking about so your point is valid.

thats not even quite it though either.... i never really went much higher than the low 20's... but a tank that sticks you there is sad to me
haha, i would totally build coils if i had a friend to help me train my left hand... as it is... my tank options get chosen by price of tank and a pack of coils... and then i delete the options as i go xD. 4(?) tanks that fit my budget with joyetech... but all the others were for like 90+ watt vaping and thats not my jam.
my previous unit was a 75 w xD
i do plan on building coils some day though :) for now its like "best for the budget, repeat till accomplished"
