So I was waiting for a Grand when the new batch is released, but then I get to thinking about the VV Grand and how it looks to be more versatile, however.....

One of the things that attracted me to the Grand was the all-mechanical design and the durability. As much as I try to be careful, whatever I get will probably get dropped, dirty, wet, submerged, skittered down the driveway, exposed to high ambient humidity and high temperatures(like inside a parked car in summer).

Would this type of hard use indicate which PV, the Grand or the VVGrand, is the best option for me?

Kind of torn between the VV option and the simplicity of the regular Grand. Durability in the face of extreme adverse conditions might be the tie breaker for me.

The Grand. The fact that you can drop it in water, remove the battery and atty, let it dry and then load it and vape.
Like you said all mechanical. Durable and tough.

You can do 5V or 6V in the Grand.

VV Grand will have the toughness in that the body will be the same. But adding the electrical parts does limit the safety around water.

I say both. VV Grand for home use, Grand to take out.

If you do not own a REO the Grand would be a great way to learn the squonk to bottom feed your atty or cartos. buy that first then when you want a back-up, which you will, pick up a VV Grand.

Actually the VV Grand will have the same electronics as the Buzz Pro. Those have been known to take quite a bit of punishment but, it's not as indestructable as the regular Grand. OTOH I have a Buzz Pro that I use around the house because my drip setup really to cumbersome for out and about. I've been using 1.8 ohm attys on a Reo mini for that. So, for me a VV Reo Grand would make a great choice to go to one unit.

You can do only one. Some Reonauts just have one REO. I have a few more than that though.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Karen said a few more!

The Grand was my first and it will always be my first love but looking forward to the VV simply because of the consistent voltage since I like 4.8v or higher personally I'm sure mine will be turned to max power at all times:D
