Honestly, this is a personal choice. Consider if you want dual coil with a single coil option, air flow options and design (or "looks"). As far as leaking, they all will leak if they're not wicked right. So there will be a learning curve, so be patient with it. I personally have a Bellus and I like it. I love the top fill option.

I have the bellus, griffin and waiting on the aromamizer supreme.

The bellus has better flavor than the griffin. The griffin produce a tad more vapor. The bellus is a wet tank. You get condensation around the airflow control ring even if it's wicked right. The griffin is a bit drier and easier to wick and to build as well being a velocity deck.

God, there are just so many to choose from now. The last year or so RTA's really have taken over the market.

I haven't bought a new RTA for months and i'm satisfied with my Zephyrus with a quad coil build, tricky to wick, more than just a slight learning curve, but well worth the trouble. Billow V2 would be a good place to start, not the newest on the market, like so many others, but tried and tested and as good as any Other. I have the Original Goliath too, small tank but easy to build on. Whatever RTA you get it will take a little getting used to. As for leaking, no guarantees any tank won't leak.

A zephyrus with a quad coil? Wow you must have tiny hands or your really patient. One of the smallest decks I've worked with

Let me think. As i recall they are each 5 wraps of 25awg kanthal, 2.5mm id with a combined ohm'age of err...0.15, and i vape at 43 watts. It is/was, still can be, tricky to wick. The juice channels are too small, they really are !. But after using it for 3 or 4 months i got the hang of exactly how to wick it and it's been working flawlessly for ages now. What i love about thick wire is how long the coils last, which seems like forever.

It's all good !.

It was one of my favourite tanks for a while but I always stuck to dual coil setups

2.5IAD? Vertical? It's a great tank. My first ever actually, recommended by my local B&M. Only done dual horiZontal coils and the flavor and vapor production is just awesome. Subjectively I think it looks just ok and a bit hard to disassemble

Yeah i have to use a 1mm hex key through the airholes to unscrew the bottom. Doable when the tank is still half full too.

Horizontal !. Tried 3mm but just a bit too tight, i mean it fits but tends to end up touching the sides later on. 2.5 fits perfect, takes a bit of wriggling and poking about. Can't go more than 5 wraps either, full to the maximum. Can't use 26awg, so i've practicaly tried every which way and the horizontal 2.5, 25awg quad assembly is the most effective.

I 2nd this also note the bellus has a cooler vape. If flavor is your #1 i'd go with the bellus. If you like the Griffin style i'd go with the diablo same idea just smaller and more flavor. If your looking for single coil the serpent mini looks super sexy.

Not to hijack, but are the Griffin and Bellus both dual only? Aromamizer? Sometimes hard to find certain info, and given the fact that something like the Mutation x4 (RDA) uses those damn plastic plugs, I can't even always trust airflow options to be a reliable indicator...
If it has a velocity deck you can build single coils through the middle

The Kayfun V4 is on the big and heavy side, but...
It vapes nicely. It's easy to work on. You can fix a build without losing the tank of juice. Refills are a breeze. But My favorite bit about it is that the way the juice flows from the tank to the wick, there is no back flow because the juice goes down, then back up. On many other tanks, the juice flows directly from the tank to the cotton through a little hole or channel. When your cotton gets all gunky, that motor oil that was once juice can flow / seep back into the tank. Even after you re wick you are left with half a tank of crapped up juice. Not a problem with KF4. Another bonus is that if you don't wick quite right and you start running a bit dry (or vape VG outside in the winter), you can unscrew the top part, breaking the seal, eliminating the negative pressure in the tank and allowing for juice to glow to wick easier.
Also, for a traveler... Shut juice down completely and no leaks even with pressure changes.

There are many good RTA's mentioned on this thread. I am currently using the Kayfun Mini V3. I can't find a tank with better flavor.

The KF mini3 has many of the same features, but in a smaller package. I don't own one (yet), but I THINK it has the same ability to shut down juice completely for airplane travel. I don't know if also has similar juice flow that mitigates back flow. Maybe an answer will appear below. :D

Not exactly sure what you mean by backflow (discoloring of juice at the end of the tank?) but that is not occurring with my KM3.
