I'm shopping for PV Christmas starter kits for my Mom and Dad. I build my won VV mods, but just don't have the time, nor all the components to put new mods together for them before Christmas, nor do I think they will be hip to carrying a boxmod around. Mom's kinda finicky, but Dad's used a Riva in the past.

I settled on getting a couple big batt PVs off the shelf. I'd like to get something quality, of course. I came across the E-Power Chrome Dual Coil Cartomizer Kit

The kit has almost everything I'd like to provide for them (sans extra batts, extra charger, nicquid and maybe some atties and carts). The reviews are disturbing tho. Does anyone have a good review to sway my decision to buy this kit? I like the ability to provide them both with a PV in one kit. I would need to get another set of batts and a charger, for sure, but the modular e-power is right up their alley. I just don't have any personal experience with this PV.

TIA for any input you have to offer!

Merry Christmas!

I don't have the chrome kit but I had purchased the black single kit when they first came out. The chrome kit is a quality PV and you get two complete units. The cartomizers that are included in the kit are fantastic and produce tons of vapor at 3.7 volts. The only trouble that I've had with mine was the charger. It stopped working after a while. It lights up but will not charge the batteries. You may want to invest in a better dual charger down the road. The only other small issue is that the cones won't fit some of the larger diameter dual coil and CE2 cartomizers. It's not a tragedy and is a problem shared with most eGo style PV's. As far as performance, it works as well as any other 3.7 volt device and the batteries do last for quite a while before they need to be recharged. MadVapes is often out of stock on the 14650's so get them while you can or seek them elsewhere.
