Thanks Ruppy. Guess I need to go buy some ink for my printer so I can print out that form and get the BP sent back for fixing.

Mike, intermittent issues/problems are the pitts all the times and a bear to figure out too. I don't fault anyone. If it turns out to be something dumb I did, let me know and I will be happy to pay for the repair.

Ros, you're a silly puppy. :D

My batteries just came out of the BP at 3.5 and 0.0... Eh so what does that mean? Ultrafires that I have been using previously in my original Buzz. I can't read so much right now cause I'm working but I'll check in on this thread. Over discharging a battery is a bad thing, right?

It is the protection circuit kicking in so the battery does not really go to 0 volts ( 2.75 volts is the min. for this battery circuit ) mine recharge no problem from 0 volts . ( or really the protection circuit is kicking back IN ! )

Todays data. B1/b2, after a full night charge, were only at 4.11/4.10v. B1 installed on top. Only vaped 3.5 ml, b1 protection circuit tripped, b2 3.45v.

Carto is 3.2 ohms.

Buzz is vaping cooler than infinity, subjectively, need the wheel cranked up further for a given power.

As of now I've had battery trips on t1, t2, b1. all 4 batteries only reading 4.09 - 4.11v immediately after coming off the 138 charger. Bp vaping cooler than infinity, and providing less than half the run time; i'm using the same cartos as on infinity, same liquid, same power. (I'm boringly consistent in my daily vape pattern, which actually makes me good to see if something isn't working right.)

Next run is back to t1 &2, this time 2 on top. Think I might try topping them off on the 001 charger, see if that does anything (i recorded their level off the 138 already).

Wondering if I have bugs in both bp and batts/charger. First time off the charger the batts had been up at 4.17 - 4.19, now they are all coming off about 0.1v lower. Stuff happens :)

One of my T1 chargers goes to green on both batteries when one is charged. Both lights were green and I took out one battery and the other one went to red. I put the battery back in and the second one went back to green. So I took the charged battery out and finished charging the other one by itself.

not that i know what the science is; i am checking mine for a day or two now... new aw 123a's today going in at 4.15 and coming out a couple hours later at 3.81 (top), 3.82 (bottom).
using a Trust FIre charger TR- 003P4 .... four slotter.

I have too many pv's going each day to get a sense of batt use time, but it's good to know my black BP #106 is doing great.

Today was back to t2/t1, this time t2 on top. I topped them off for an hour and change on the 001 charger, came off at 4.23v.

Just a bit over 3 ml before one tripped, no more vaping. T2 metered 3.65v, t1 0v.

I've had trips occur on both bottom and top batteries, and on all batteries, after under 4 ml, generally closer to 3 ml. My cartos are clean, over 3 ohms, and i change them after 4 days. I have been metering the cartos, no resistance issues, and they are both boge and v4l coolcarts

I'll try b2/b1 again, after an 001 charger topoff, but I suspect I have a just plain whoops set. Bp likely has issues, can't tell if they may have lead to the batts being bad by now since bp has been driving them all into the ground. Can't tell one way or another on the charger, tho the 138 seems to hit only 4.1v now, after being 4.17 at first.

The infinity continues to be a rock, absolutely consistent, so playing with the bp gear for a few days to see if changing things around helps is a harmless experiment :)

Yesterday when I needed to put in new batteries, the 2 I took out(Flame Trustfires) were tested. #1 battery was 2.8v - #2 battery was 0.0v. This is not the first time I have noticed this.
Strangely, I have never had any reduction in battery time. I had over 24 hours of vaping use out of those Trustfires before they needed recharging.

Im leaning toward the facr that the battery protection is kicking in before the chip low voltage protection. Ultimately unless the protection circuit fails, tossing them on the charger will reset it.

Like rosco said this really should have no major effect on runtime either. Im getting about a full day out of mine. I vape around 5 ml a day.

I'm pretty sure I do have a faulty pv, with a "maybe" on the 138 charger, since the voltage seems a bit low, particularly given the voltage coming off the 001 charger (I'm leaving the batts on the 138 a respectable time, well after the lights turn green); I'm comfortable that the trustfire 001 charger is good, I've been using it for months, including to recharge an infinity battery set during this bp test, getting that same, consistent, excellent run time off of the infinity battery pairs.

Something is just drawing the bp batts down faster than reasonable, extra amps being pulled. Probably stop testing after today; both b2/b1 batts starting at 4.23V off of the 001 charger "top-off".

"When in doubt ship it out" let the fine surgical team at notcigs take a look :) Shoot mike a PM and get a RMA rolling. They are crazy fast at getting them fixed.

Hey y'alls, can anyone else see their LED in the daylight at all? I gotta go to a dark corner and cup my hand around the adjuster wheel to see the color of the light. No BFD, I was just wondering. I guess I did use the LED on the OB to tell when the batts were dead.
BTW, I documented the charge on the batts when I put them in the new Pro at 11:45 am, EST today. I'm curious to see the difference in the battery life
Also, I got chrome caps and no, the shutoff feature doesn't work at all but like I said in another thread, "how can I vape with the darn thing shut off anyway?"
