Hey y'alls, can anyone else see their LED in the daylight at all? I gotta go to a dark corner and cup my hand around the adjuster wheel to see the color of the light. No BFD, I was just wondering. I guess I did use the LED on the OB to tell when the batts were dead.
BTW, I documented the charge on the batts when I put them in the new Pro at 11:45 am, EST today. I'm curious to see the difference in the battery life
Also, I got chrome caps and no, the shutoff feature doesn't work at all but like I said in another thread, "how can I vape with the darn thing shut off anyway?"
I can see mine if I look for it. Honestly I prefer it to pushing the LED thinking its a button like I did on my original buzz LMAO .

mine is on all the time(LED)... black / brass bottom cap. Other than that it works as designed.

i am using AW 123a's ... after a days use, it stopped with the LED on ( i thought it might be a dead atty ) it was the batts... they measured 3.0v (top), and 3.4v (bottom)... maybe that's how it's supposed to operate, or maybe it's the batt protection at work (?).

all well and loving the BP.

The RED led is an ON indicator AND a short indicator , IF you press the button and it is still RED then there is a short ! blue is the ON indicator and that it has GOOD OUTPUT or no short .

I figured that out and it works perfectly... When we first changed the top cap, my husband didn't screw something tight enough. We put on the cartomizer and tried it and there was no blue, just a red light! So he quickly screwed whatever needed screwing (OK someone is going to turn that sentence into something that was not intended) and then there was blue light.

I was just curious if there were any other pretty colors that meant something!

Todays results, b2 top, b1 bottom, ended at 3.27 & tripped, at 3.5 ml, basically a bit under half what a pair of infinity batteries run.

Time for notcigs tlc :)

Yeah, sumpin' don't sound right there. Bummer. That thing should be runnun' a lot more efficiently than that. I would assume it's possible to get a bad regulator or two in batches of hundreds.

Well then I should be seeing some purple as I don't think I've put this thing down since it arrived last saturday! I noticed yesterday that it is pretty much always in my hand. Even fell asleep holding it a few times!

Same here. lol It's been in my hand (or laying on my chest while I type) since I started using it this morning.

Good question.

It was absolutely worth playing around with, since I had multiple sets of batts, and the 001 charger from the infinity. Since I carry the infinity too, which is 100% solid, seeing if varying the other items would help the bp was a fun debugging experiment :)

Ignoring the improvement from your new circuit, and derating the bp batteries to 650 mah, same as infinity batts, the bp is somehow drawing twice as much current, net, since the run time is half the infinity. I know it is not power to the carto, pretty sure I could tell 16w vs 8, and I would be going through a lot more liquid.

I too have found it on my chest a few times while I am typing. I've been avoiding sitting at the table or desk to when I work on the computer because without a tiny incline it would not rest nicely on the chest!

Sorry to hear you guys are having so much battery problems!
