after 3 recharges, my batts are showing something...

1. started with new AW 123a's 2 sets... normal discharge rates; top batt being about .10v lower than the bottom, when taken out.

*2. after third day now, top batt is showing 0 ... and bottom is 3.34v

BP red light is on when it won't fire; blue light when button pushed (normal).

So how many people total are having issues with their Buzz Pro?Is anyones working without issues and getting the great run time out of the batteries they should be?Mine gets delivered tomorrow and i'm not sure at this point if I want to open it,or just send it back for a refund.

So far so good for me. I started with one of my oldest sets of batteries. I bought them for a GLV about a year ago. This particular pair was only lasting me 4 or 5 hours on my original Buzz (I'm a 6+ ml vaper), They ran from 11:45 am until 6: 55 pm so 7 hours and 10 minutes. Not bad. I was seriously chain vaping. I was trying to see if I could make this Buzz get warm like my old one did when I chained on it. Never did get warm BTW.

To clarify, I believe that at the end of a use cycle you are actually supposed to get either the battery or the main bp circuit kicking in. The tech senses when the output voltage is too low and automatically cuts out. This is to protect the batteries from being over discharged. The cutout should happen, it is only a problem if it occurs very early. (Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the cutout is not by itself anything bad, just the "recharge me" signal.)

Add 2 more units to that. I've just been lurking waiting to see how this all plays out. Both units I ordered (one belongs to a friend) are experiencing this issue. I'm using a TR-001 charger that I already had along with new batteries I ordered with the BP. My friend is using a WF-138 and batteries he had for his original Buzz.

Has any one taken the battery's from the Buzz Pro that are in question and placed them in a Buzz from the last run, I do not wont to call it the Old buzz Just to see if you get the same results.

Just thinking out loud today.

It's hard to say exactly, since I haven't been using my BP exclusively since it first happened. Saturday night I put in fresh batteries at 10:30pm before going out. Vaped lightly through the night, in bed about 2:00am. Got up at 10:00am Sunday and batteries were dead by noon. So that's about 5.5 hours, and I wasn't chain vaping or anything. Checked the voltage and one battery looked fine but the other was 0v. Since then I've just been changing them frequently and alternating with another PV.

My friend puts in batteries at 3am when he leaves for work. He says some days they last until he gets home at 3pm, other days he's swapping them by 9-10am. He doesn't have a volt meter though, so I haven't been able to confirm if the battery protection circuit is kicking in.

So, not the best data points, but I do believe it's the same issue.

I've had it occur with my original Buzz. With flame trustfires, silver ultrafires, and last night with AW's. One battery tested at like 3.1v and the other at 0.0v.

But---- I am still getting 24++ hours between battery changes, so it is NOT affecting performance whatsoever.

Dont get me wrong, noone is doubting. We are just looking to help mike get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible so he can fix anyones issues Please post any info you come up with in the meantime.

My BP just arrived!! It's SO purdy!! I have the black with chrome end caps and the on/off feature is working. I'll "force" myself to vape on it all day and see how the batteries do. This pair of batteries are not new, but I couldn't wait for my new ones to charge.

I coated the top threads on the tube with clear nail enamel top coat and the on / off functions properly now this will probablly wear off quickly but I had it on hand mabey I'll hit up the auto paint for a harder enamel black and brass buzz

So for those of us that are getting 24 hours out of the batteries does that mean there is nothing wrong?

We did get 4 sets of batteries and with the amazing run times we have been getting on the BP there is a very good possibility that the batteries that gave me somewhere in the ball park of only a day (instead of 2 to 2.5 days) where used for the first time when I only got a day. My husband is getting a full day longer then me as he does not vape as heavily, so he could have easily grabbed the batteries I took out of my Buzz 12 hours earlier and put them on the charger!

Nah, I'm actually expecting really good run time on the BP, confident that mine has an honest HW issue (whether the BP or two bad sets of batteries), it'll get straightened out. My Infinity runs full day, 6 ml, every day, sometimes 7 ml, so I'm a happy camper while the BP gets R&R at the Notcigs Spa

I am more then happy with my BP, it is in my hand always! My problem is I don't understand all this technical battery talk here and if I need to get a new set of batteries to make sure my BP is the best PV it can be I want to follow this thread so I can do so! So I am hoping when someone figures out what is going wrong they make that clear and don't hide it in all sorts of technical talk!

Moo I was getting 21 hrs. on the new tech whitch is what powers the BP so 24 is good. I changed the batteries once a day and almost the same time every day.

I used to get 3-4 hours out of a set on the OB , I know get about 5-6 hours ( I vape like a ho ! )so that is a 30-45% increase and is exactly what I expected because of the new controller , the time in most cases comes down to how hard you vape or ON TIME ,

I am setting up a test bed that will cycle the units 5 sec. ON / 15 sec. OFF with full charges on the batts , it will also have a cycle counter so I will be able to exactly know how long the ON time is for any set of batts or unit .
