They are a stainless steel color with a polished finish - we say it's chrome in color - the metal is chrome plated copper as I understand.

Is this the version 1 with a 3.2 amp limit and does it have any other features besides the spring loaded center pin?
This is the original 2.5A version, aside form the spring loaded pin it also features a heavy-duty chrome plated bras body, and metal bottom cap.
