Still did not see anything that quoted him as believing the 6000 year theory. Associations with people, linking, or simply being identified as Christian does not equate to anything.

Not believing in evolution to the degree that others choose to explain life forms does alone not make a creationist. There are too many holes in it, missing pieces and not unlike the creationists, a simple time problem to get over

To illustrate this, those that are inclined to believe in the petri dish theories do not believe that "god" is the creator but still don't buy "evolution" as a means to explain it all.
There are also those that believe that who/what/god created us, left us here and is not watching/waiting or ever coming back. Deists. Most of the prominent and intellectuals throughout US history have been just that.
