I just got my chuck today with an 808 connection and it works with the V4L and E2 808 cartos pretty well! I had a bit of trouble getting them screwed in at first but it's going well now. Loving the chuck. My connection is a bit crooked so my cartos lean to the side a but but oh well. Vapes like a champ!

edit-So I just tried 6v vaping for the first time ever. Holy wow. I went to my used carto bucket for this as I was afraid they would burn up. They did. First hit was filler hit all the way. I tried again with a really nice and wet fresh fill. Loving it! Flavors that I once hated now taste great. I need to get some good 901 attys for the sake of my carto collection as I'm sure they will burn up fast but for now I'm digging it.

Now your in trouble! I didn't think I'd ever vape at six. First try was not great. Then I tried again, using flavors that were so so before and now I am hooked. I like the fact that I can inhale without having to work at getting a draw, just breath in and bam!

It has some huge benefits too. Had a bad day about six weeks back, grabbed a cig (bad I know) but not only did it taste horrid, the one drag I took didn't hit me like my six volts so I tossed it immediately. High voltage vaping has truly killed my smoking habit. If I don't count that one drag I took, I've been free for over seven months now.

BTW, I use a 510 carto and not only do I not burn them out, I can use them at six volts for weeks at a time. Might want to try one for your six volt vaping. The V4L ones didn't work so well.

Oh I know I'm in trouble. 3.7 feels like childs play now. Thanks for the advice on the 510 cartos. I decided early on that I wanted two chucks so I got one with an 808 connection and one with a 510. 510 isn't born yet. It's good to know that the 510 cartos won't be as easy to fry as the V4L cartos. I'm getting some of the V4L cartos to work on it. If i take the first little toot and it tastes like burnt cotton, it's a 3.7 carto and if it don't taste burnt I use it at 6. I've had a V4L last me a few days at 6v before tasting like it's done for. It's good enough to tide me over until my 510 gets here. I got some 901 attys in the mail today too. That might help.

The key is to soak them up real good the first time and top off often. You'll know, the minute it tastes a bit harsh is when you toss in a few more drops....this is where the drip tips come in handy with the cartos.
I get mine at COV, his seem to last the best and his drip tips are reasonable. Poeia sent me over there, very good vendor for blank 510 regular cartos and tips.

I know what you mean, I ordered a little chuck and wish I just got it in regular size cause I love the design. The only thing I vape on it is bubble gum flavor, totally childs play. LOL!

For the 510, what I've got figured out so far is the 2 main players are:
SLB - brass threads, horizontal coil
Boge - silver threads, vertical coil

Up and comers are the E2 which are ceramic and need a needle to be refilled

Joye makes some as do others, but those are the biggies.

Clouds of Vapor carries the Boge (which I also prefer to the SLB). Their price has gone up a bit although it's still pretty good when you add in the 10% discount.
ProVape carries SLB at an incredible price -- cheaper than ordering from China when you factor in shipping (if you buy 8+ packs.)
EastMall -- Amy and I both bought SLB hard tip ones from them. Two different threads on their forum indicate that they now carry Boge/Silver threaded ones and they carry soft tips.
BlueGrassVapor has different colors (on sale this month.) I have to find out what brand they are. 10% discount code.
Plus all the usual players

Has anyone tried the new 510 E2 r4 on their chucks yet? I cant get them to work on my little chuck.

Haven't tried them. When you do please post some info here and let us know all the tips and tricks. I really want to know if you need a syringe to actually fill them etc etc. I like my regular 510 cartos because I just fill thru my drip tip when they start to get dry. The idea of fuddling is what is keeping me from trying these but I am curious because I'd like to be able to use my little chuck. From what I understand they do not work well for 6V vaping.

I've been using RoyalSmokers E2 cartos from cloudsofvapor on my big chuck for a while and they are working out great for me. Filling them with the tiny tube is a royal pain so I just started dripping directly into them. They are not like a regular carto so they are perfect for dripping with a tip. They last me a few days. I'm digging them.

Which generation at which ohms for which batts macho king? My other question is they last only a few days by your choice or is that how fast they fry out. I get my regular 510 megas from him, they last me a few weeks and that's at 6volts.
Now that I have a set up I like I've been budget vaping, I vape for under twenty bucks a month provided I get my juice on special. Those cartos cost more and the thought of tossing them every couple days doesn't sound good to me yet. I am just gonna sit back and continue to wait.

Quick question, I have a disabled chuck at the moment. Say I wanted to use carto's on it or any 901 thread for that matter but can't get any air to pass through the carto because it's sitting to far into the base of the device. Unscrewing it breaks contact, so that don't work. Is there an attachment to allow airflow into carto's to use in any device. Thanks in advance.
