I don't know man. In the GG forum a guy had his CR2s literally explode like a pipe bomb and nearly burn the house down. Check it out. He has pictures of it too.

OK, could burn something, protected can too but less likely, just not as dangerous as said, like the myth of the butane lighter blowing off the welders leg, NOT POSSABLE, there just isn't that many joules in either these little batteries or the lighter. The LED flashlight boys feel the same for these small batteries and have had protected CR2's flame and destroy their $400 shurefire flashlights

are they by chance blue tenergy 900mahs? My blue tenergys trip thier PCB and wont let me vape for some reason but my yellow ones work perfect....blue ones drove me bonkers, I wish u best of luck and hope ur back in Chucktopia soon

Had the same problems with my 18350's, I have 3 dead ones. I'm curious, do the yellow 18350's work better? Will they explode?

I have both the yellow 18350s and they madvapes prot. ones...I usually dont worry about batts exploding when using just one at a time....Its when u stack batts that ups the stakes....I use both but only use protected when I stack 2 batts.
