Cig Free after 29 years

Hi Gang,

Picked up some KR808D-1's and immediately was off the stinkies after 29 years.

My initial order was with Smokeless Image, but getting refills turned into a real 3 stooges movie.

I have had much better luck with Backwoods Brew and Carolina Vapes...

In any event, I am completely thrilled with the e-cig thing and am looking to learn as much as I can.

Congratulations on quitting. I'm coming up towards 3 years vaping and it still amazes me and I have never had a moment when I wanted a smoke. Lots of advice on here and some great vaping gear to keep you moving forward

my quitting the menthol analogs was seamless too. I used a Volcano Inferno (ego type system) and quit the very first day after 55 years as a smoker. Easy as hell and I've never looked back. I wouldn't smoke a cigarette on a bet!

Wow. What a friendly bunch.

I have been off the stinkies for a week.

Its great to have a sense of smell again. A simple coca-cola tastes fabulous now. I rode home yesterday with the windows open just to smell things.

Sometimes I feel like I'm getting too much oxygen. No more carbon monoxide, I guess.

I'm hoping to work down the nicotine level over time.... now at 18 mg.

Congrats on quitting analogs. I am coming up on 1 year off of cigs in another week and 4-5 months since quitting vaping. Still check in here from time to time and believe vaping is the much better alternative!!! Way to go.

People around you see it as a gimick, some hocus pocus thing that you're still "smoking". They'll come around eventually... or they won't. Not all of my family gets it, but they have realized I smell better, I can breathe better, walk further without resting, and I even look better. My skin isn't gray anymore. Hang in there, and just remember you're not doing this for people around you, you're doing it for yourself.
