Cigar? Anyone?

do you guys still puff on tasty cigars on special occasions?
As you rarely inhale, do you still have a cigar at say, weddings?

Mouth cancer aside, they are really nice.

Not anymore but I do like some cigar based NETs. If someone were to offer a decent cigar I'd take it with a smile and say I'm going to savor this later (and make a NET lol)

I smoke about 1 cigar every 2 weeks.

No cigarettes for almost 3 years now

Every once in a while, i'll have an "Its a boy". Their alright, but i prefer NETs.

Yep I usually chill out at a cigar lounge with a Montecristo after the new year. I typically smoke two to four cigars a year. Just something about being in a room full of smoke and enjoying the aroma, the taste and the variety of cigars can't be beat.

I haven't since I quit the stinkies for vaping but if I were out having drinks and was offered one I'd probably take it. Always enjoyed a nice cigar now and then.

When I started vaping (and quit smoking) I had a large, 300 count humidor with almost 100 (mostly la flor dominicana) cigars in it. I sold the whole thing to a friend of my nephew's for $100. Needless to say, he was overjoyed.

I was so excited, happy, relieved, etc., etc., etc., at finally quitting, after almost 50 years and many previous attempts, that I wanted absolutely nothing to do with smoking ever again.

I envy those who can have one every so often. Personally, I can't take the chance. I'm the same way with alcohol. When asked, I tell people that I no longer drink................because I liked it too much.

Now that I'm making NET's, I wish I would have kept it. Too many times in my life I've said "I'll never need/want this", tossed or sold it and then wanted/needed that very thing at some point in the future.

Problem is, even a pack-rat has only so much room.

My wife and I started vaping 4 1/2 years ago. We made a deal that, every autumn time change (November), we would have a cigar out on the patio. I mean that hour doesn't count, right?

1st year it was, oh yeah, now that's what I'm talkin' about.

2nd year it's meh.

3rd year my wife snuffed it out after one puff and I made it thru about 1/2 a cigar.

The tradition lasted 3 years.

Last time I went on a cruise, I had one almost every night after dinner.
The cigar bar was right next to the martini bar, so it wasn't my fault.

Special occasions inc. cruises, anniversaries, nights out drinking with friends, cigar bars/lounges and last but not least; just whenever I feel like it.

I find they aren't as enjoyable to me anymore. My brother gave me some cigars last year for Christmas and it was just okay. The net I made from the clipped ends was much better. It may sound silly but vapor production and taste were lame compared to vaping.

As a Canadian that has vacationed in Cuba multiple times, I have lots of great cigars to put it mildly. 3 humidor stuffed with top Cubans and some Dominicans I like (Fuente Opus X, Davidoff, etc.).

I still smoke about 1/2 dozen cigars a year and never inhale. I still enjoy it and I consider it a rare treat. I'm off cigarettes for almost 14 months, so I'm not concerned with having the odd cigar around the pool or on the golf course.

JK, camping and the one round is more similar to what I could do.
Except, I think they wouldn't let me on most. I don't even have a handicap.

Good in the most part. But not for golf.
