Out in the middle of Nowhere
As for the poster trying to create minis, yes, cutting them laterally is the way to go, but careful to do it outside, preferably in a strong wind. You'll need two filters, though. Look around, there's usually a spare on the ground somewhere. It may be a bit flattened out, but stuffing it with a bit of kleenex or toilet paper will help.

Thanks soo much for your help Maggie! Do you think it would be better to cut them, or just tear them in half? Also, about this other filter. Is it really necessary? If I do go with the second filter, would you suggest I tape it on the end or use super glue?? Also, if I pick up a used filter, would the flavoring from said filter change the flavor of the cig I'm using?

This thread is hilarious!!

Waiting patiently for response!:pop:

While walking on Main Street, one thing becomes clear: more and more people are getting rid of their electronic cigarettes. Wherever you look, the pavement is littered with discarded batteries, drip tips and Vivi Nova's. Instead of using these dangerous battery sticks with God-knows-what in them, more and more people are quitting their despised habit and are acquainting themselves with a new product that promises to be way more healthy: cigarettes. Losing just one letter, e, it makes for a totally different experience: gone is the recharging, the refilling, the exploding battery, all the fuss that has made vaping to such a nuicance over the last decade. All the worrying about having enough spares, enough liquids, the right colour drip tip, is gone. It's replaced by a convenient, small packet with twenty cigarettes, which the users call "analogs", easily lit with a lighter, an accessory that produces a flame on demand, something the electronic versions severely lack. Best of all: cigarettes are available everywhere, after they took over the market by storm. When asked, Larry Price, a street sweeper, has this to say: "These electronic things are killing my back. Everybody throws them away, and I have to sweep them up and dump them in my truck. There's only so many I can handle a day. Fortunately, they are more and more being replaced by those cigarette butts. Those are much lighter and I don't necessarely have to sweep them up, I can just sweep them into the sewer. Can't do that with the batteries, those will clog everything up."

The MOST important part of this kit is the lighter. If you don't have a good lighter set-up, it does not matter how good your nicotine delivery system is, because you won't be able to use it. Here is a pic of my set up, with all my back ups:

The important thing is to ENJOY your smoking journey!

Although I would agree with your statement about the lighter I believe your cheap knockoff lighters are a much inferior product than mine !!

OMG- New Smoking Mod Alert!!!! I just ran across this new mod, looks like maybe made in UK?? I don't think it includes the castle. It has a totally new delivery system, the trunk is actually packed with dried tobacco leaves. With a press of a button you allow a leaf to be placed in a metal box (probably military grade) and it is ignited and burns fresh dried tobacco while the smoke fills the cab of the vehicle. You can adjust delivery of smoke with vents. This is so cool!!! It is a bit "boxy" but the quality is bar none and has a very high resale value! I hear there is a waiting list. You can also get a wood smoke version where a few chips of hickory are dropped into the smoking pan for a real hickory tobacco smoke. WOW I want one like yesterday!!

Personally, I use a nice, sharp meat cleaver for all my cutting needs. For vegetarians and/or vegans, an axe is the way to go. I know some worldly individuals use machetes, but I have found them awkward. Sickles have unfortunate political connotations, so you might not want to try them.

Superglue. Good for filters and for keeping stray bits of tobacco in line.

Recycling found filters is a great way to brighten up your taste buds and try new stuff. Think of it as a surprise gift and be sure to blow a smoke ring of gratitude to that nice stranger who left it for you to find!

Hey, you've already got a pink lamborghini and now you want a...jag...rolls...bentley? [can't see, too much smoke in my eyes and my glasses are all filmy].

Geez, there are threads here, whole sections maybe even, for whiner show-offs like you. Nothing personal, mind, but you are a real piece of work, you are. "I gotta this, but now I wanna that, 'cause I don have one already."

Just because it comes with a whole bootful/trunkful of prime tobacco, you gotta have one...

You have no shame.

After careful consideration, I have written a BLOG about cigarettes starter kits for newbies. Here is an example:

The first thing you need to do is understand your equipment. The words can be VERY confusing for a newbie, so I have drawn a picture of the equipment you will need to start enjoying your kit.

You may want a case for when you are "out and about" and stealth smoking. I LOVE my little mini, I take it to the store, the movies and the bathroom. I recommend something like this for ease of use because it keeps everything together, no more "fumbling" for anything:

Once you get used to everything and realize how EASY smoking is, you may want to UPGRADE your mod and get a mechanical or other type of Mod. I LOVE using this one and everywhere I go people ask me about it. I can take it ANYWHERE, even on planes.

Great advice there Chelle but you forgot one of the most important pieces of equipment that every smokers will eventually need. Once you have one of these additions to your smoking kit you can just lie back and enjoy your smoke-filled-rest-of-your-natural without any worries. This model comes with a lifetime (3 month) guarantee.

Well noobs... You know you're doing it right when you get this method down:

Keeps the nicotine, tar and associated goodness moving through your whole head! Ahhhhhhhhhhh And as a plus, your children will be begging for their first ciggy so they can show their friends how cool it looks.

Can't do THAT with vapor!

Is that a Prolighter? That would work well with my cigar whilst in my hummer chasing sheep and talking with shrimp.

Newbie here so be gentle. I have been storing my used Marlboro lights in a 55 gal drum can anyone suggest a vendor who sells an extractor and reroller ? Also I have been having trouble finding a B&M that sells tar is it ok to use asphalt sealant or is this to thin ?

Thx in advance

It's probably going to be too thick, just dilute with a couple of drops of acetone. Acetone is great for removing nail polish too so it won't be a total waste.

I've started to use my e-cig atty as a makeshift lighter. Just throw on some accelerant(diesel works best for that extra flavour boost) and press the button. Mind and press the button after the diesel step, or you'll be shopping at Ft for those new eyebrows before you know it.
