Cigarette nostalgia, autumn/winter?

Good evening, fellow ECF members.
I've been enjoying my journey through gradually weening myself off of cigarettes through the help e-cigs. And, now, I can't resist the different flavors of liquid, etc. There are so many things that have changed for the better through the past year of my e-cig experience.
That said, I only smoked analogs for about three years...still, I saw a helpless pattern that would eventually turn detrimental, and found a way to end the pattern.

Main part of this post, I started smoking when I started college, lighting up my first analogs in the Fall, enjoying them fully by Winter. Every autumn/winter that rolls around, I find myself heavily nostalgic for cigarettes. And, tonight, with the weather cooling and the sun setting earlier, I got that...tickle for an analog.

I can tell this will become more noticeable in the coming months. I have been analog-free this whole summer, and I've loving it.
But does anyone have any advice on how I could fully resist an analog when it comes to the nostalgia associated with cigarettes?
Any e-liquids that are just superb for the fall/winter?

I know most of this becomes subjective, but it's strange phenomenon that occurs around this time every year. Help me stay committed!

Thanks in advance:blush:

Somewhere out there
You may want to go to some smokey tobacco flavors and wood flavors for fall and winter. I find that helps with any cravings I would have. I go heavier on tobacco juices in winter and less light fruits. Also some heavier desert flavors, chocolates, peanut butter, butter rum and tobacco helps too. Hope that helps! I am at the point I can't stand the smell or thought of smoking anymore, but I know the feeling you have, I went thru more last year when I first quit. Hang in there!! bnrk

Try some unsweetened flavs, like previously mentioned. I really like longbottom leaf and Grandpa's cold medicine as cool weather dark windy outdoorsy type vapes. You might always want a cig, but thats why we vape. Knowing you loved to smoke will be nostalgic at the weirdest times, but if you love something else more, even IF you cheat, you'll come back to the better tasting, cheaper, and healthier side. No worries, my friend!

I can totally relate. This will be my first smoke-free autumn/winter after 20 years of smoking. So far I have been treating myself to a new flavor or two when I have cravings, but I am stocking up in anticipation.

My back up plan is to go to the shisha bar with some friends after the first snow, when I know I will want a cig the most. Hopefully I will get my smoke fix without touching the ciggies again.

Gosh, I totally feel ya. Last night, and tonight too, as my husband and I left to go walk the dogs, the air was crisp and cool, and I suddenly had thoughts of lighting up a smoke. Whipped my eGo mini out of my pocket and chainvaped the whole walk.

It's been a reliable thing to have around. The eGo, that is. Before I got a C starter kit, I was using KR808D1's, and it was a constant hassle with those things. The eGo is quicker to figure out for those desperate times of troubleshooting.

Thank you for the delicious sounding ideas, bnrkwest! I've always enjoyed the nuttier flavors, but peanut butter sounds like the next level up. I definitely am interested in some woodier flavors, feeling certain that a Virginia blend or a Black Honey Tobacco would also work well. *crosses fingers, waiting for NLV order*

Mmm, hookah--Blue Mist. Actually, a friend or two has called my eGo a mini-hookah.
Definitely know what you mean about stocking up. Looking into some mini-jugs or just bulkier quantities in general. Wanting to DIY, but that's a totally different topic, heh.

I did break my analog-free time, unfortunately. Went out of town, realized later on I completely forgot to take my charger with me for the weekend, both batteries eventually lost power. But it was only two analogs, and I detected a gag reflex, so that's positive.

That really gives me a little boost of confidence, thanks, Experimental Strategies. Every time I've slipped up, and found myself smoking an analog, I get a somewhat disappointed feeling ("What did I want this so badly for?")...and I go straight back to my batteries, :)

Going to try some strong, TH-ing liquids where I can find them...really interested in Grandpa's Cold Medicine.
