Well, I'm having a hard time figuring out how much I'm actually intaking per day. May be because I've just switched over to dripping coupled with the fact that I don't keep track of how many drips I use.

I use 2 drips of 11mg juice at a time. Maybe get about 3-4 drags off of that. I'm sure I'm not using all the liquid in the atty, but I don't know what it tastes like when the atty runs dry. It's a very harsh throat hit and exhale with PG and a drip tip :( really not that great.. Any tips or anything to improve the taste? I just got my first VG blend in (also 11mg) so I can't wait to try that tonight..

So, lets assume I smoke 10 times during the day at 11mg, 2 drops at 4 drags at a time. What would I realistically be intaking per day? (I'm really sorry to have to get you to do the math for me, but I'm really noob and really bad at math :)

I'll give you a rough estimate here and make it really simple. 10 X 2 = 20. So your vaping approximately 20 drops a day. 18-20 equals 1ml. 1ml = 11mg of the nicotine in your juice. You will absorb at the high end 40% of the nicotine so 11mg X 0.4 = 4.40mg, one cigarette = 1.2mg. So 4.40 / 1.2 = 3.67 analogs.

These numbers are approximations YMMV.

In Summary 10 X 2 = 20 / 20 = 1 X11 = 11 X .4 = 4.4 / 1.2 = 3.67 hope that helps.

No, not V4L, I've been using the VaporPro stuff. I only ordered one bottle of Orange Creme and I feel like I want more variety already. You know, one for the morning, one for the nighttime when I go out, etc..
No headaches, no dizzyness or nausea or anything yet.. I did feel very tired and took a nap, but doubt that has anything to do with anything other than being tired.

I vaped about half the day from 7, all the way up until 5 or 6 without craving an analog. Broke down right after the post and smoked one, then one just now. I think I simply need to work ecigs into my regular regimen.

I also need to learn how the 510 works intimately before relying solely on it as my delivery device. I'm not getting consistent thick vapor clouds. They're wispy compared to the videos I've seen on the 'tube. And I'm almost certain it has something to do with my technique.. Pulling smoke is definitely different from analogs! I'm going to guess that not getting very good pulls doesn't deliver as much nicotine, hence why I craved an analog. Like I said, I just got these yesterday and today was the first day of use, so I'm not the most experienced guy out there..
But you guys help!

AS to the tireds :) i was the first couple weeks but have had that as withdrawals everytime i tried quitting .It will pass ,promise.:)I like all the solutions here and i just did what my body told me ....started on 24mg ,went down to 18mg after about 6 weeks as 4 was too soon .next move for me is 11 mg. i smoked 1- 1.5 pad marlboro light 100's .Happy vaping !

Are you worried that you're getting too much nicotine? Do you feel like you're vaping too much or not enough?

I wonder why I feel satisfied after 2 or three puffs every hour or so. I'm not intaking that much at ALL and I used to smoke a pack of analogs a day!
I worry that I am not getting enough nic in my day, yes. Though it's been 5 days without one, I still find it a tad hard to feel satisfied. It's not unbearable, but I think Ive cut my intake from around 15-20 analogs down to about 4 to 5!!!

That's not gonna cut it, but I certainly don't want to overdo it too much. I'd like to get the equivalent of about 8 or 10 analogs a day if possible..
I also want to understand how to buy a high concentration of nic and cut it down so that it becomes less concentrated. Are there some good threads on how to do that?

Thanks guys, you make quitting more bearable :2cool:
