Cigarette smoke nazi

I never wanted to be "that guy." You know the type: ex smoker who can't stand even getting a Whif of someone's smoke. When I smoked cigs it always seemed the ex smokers were worse than the non smokers. On vacation with family members who smoke (in the same room with me) and the smell is hideous to me now. I keep my mouth shut but inside I am thinking "YOU'RE RUINING MY vape!"

Anyone else notice it seems to stink now?

I'm surprised at how much I now dislike that smell, although after it 1st hits me it quickly stops bothering me. I think I will always be sympathetic towards people who still smoke. Sometimes I might have to remind myself to be mindful, but after 40 years as a smoker who am I to judge them?

I like the smell of burning tobacco, as long as it isn't close. If I'm walking down the street and smell it, it smells good to me; if someone is smoking right next to me or in the same room, it smells horrible.

My wife gave a smoker a ride in our car a couple of weeks ago and she let her smoke in it. The car smelled nasty for a good week! I don't consider myself a no-smoking nazi, but I had to tell my wife to not let people smoke in the car anymore.

Burning tobacco is not bad. It's the paper of the cigarette burning that I can't stand the smell/taste of now. My dad smoke Swisher Sweet cigarillos and they smell pretty good. My brother smokes Marlboro light Menthol; they smell like .....

I can't deny the fact that I do think it stinks, however, the reason it really bothers me is that it sometimes makes me want to have an analog. That doesn't happen so much anymore because I can just reach for my PV. I do still notice the smell whenever a smoker walks by me. I don't want to be "that guy" either so I just try to ignore it.
