Thats what I want. I want my e cig to taste like a cigarette. Just a good cheap analog, sounds weird but after several months of vaping, I MISS the analog taste. In addition to taste, I want good throat hit with a very MILD menthol, 18 mg/ml. (I did 12 mg/ml last time but want to bump it up just a little)

I've been playing around, but am not getting what I want (prolly cuz I am new to mixing).

So here is what I have (all bought from DIY):

no nic vg
no niv pg
48 mg/ml pg

tobacco flavor
virginia fire cured
tobacco blend (alc)
tobacco extract

menthol liquid
Flvorwest Menthol

Anyone? I hope someone can help me out. I am frustrated!

Hi redtailgal -

As for good flavors to get you close to the taste of an analog, Flavour Art's tobacco line is fairly extensive and they've put a lot of effort into making flavors that do exactly what you want. Latakia and Cuban Supreme are both quite "smokey" in their taste. Perique Black is supposed to mimic the real analog taste, but surprisingly it doesn't have a heavy smokey profile. The menthol can be added into the mix once you get the tobacco flavor base where you like it.

Here's an easy to reach chart that renatortb posted on the forums to give you an idea of the flavor profile for many of the Flavour Art tobaccos.

Here is also a link to Flavour Art's tobacco line with descriptions of the flavors

As for our most popular Flavour Art tobacco flavorings, Maxx Blend is quite popular as is Camtel Ultimate. Black Fire has become fairly popular, but it is also new, so there may be some novelty sales going on with that for the time, but I haven't heard any complaints regarding those. Keep in mind these flavors are suggested use at 1-2% total flavoring in your mixtures.

Let us know if you have any questions, email, call or whatever works.

I too like desert ship! It's probably my favorite tobacco flavoring from TA, but I've heard many others who can't stand it. So hard to take flavor advice from others, you never know when you may find that diamond in the rough~

Ain't that da truth... I went thru endless flavors and experimenting with TA before I landed in the desert. Now that redtail got me thinkin' about it, might have to mix me up a batch for old times sake.

Hope you and Kimmer are doing well up in the frozen north!
