Haha. I couldn't find my pv last night and ended up buying a pack of cigs(first pack in 2 weeks) and found myself very disappointed in the amount of smoke. I don't vape anything fancy but I am used to clouds. Anyone else who has smoked since starting vaping been disappointed by this?

just as dylanlee said the smoke production is disappointing but there is just something about smoking that vaping doesn't quite satisfy. I've been vaping for about 6 months now and i still smoke a pack or two a week. i can't even explain what it is. i almost feel like i enjoy smoking cigarettes because i know i shouldn't. that sounds dumb nd i know that nobody thinks I'm kool (hehe) for smoking but i almost feel like the rebellious side of me drives me to buy a pack. and I'm addicted to the process and finality of it all. vaping is almost too easy if that makes sense. with vaping i fill up my tank and am set for a day or two. or when I'm dripping its just add a few drops now and then. with cigarettes its more of an experience. i go to the gas station, tell the cashier what i want and i still get a tingly feeling like I'm being bad when the guy asks for my ID. and like i said i love the finality of a cigarette. with vaping there is no real beginning and end. i sort of just start vaping and then...vape some more and then...vape a little more...and a little more...and so on. with a cigarette i have to go outside, light it (the beginning) and then watch it slowly shrink smaller and smaller until i get up and crush the ..... i like that. i like how it is its own activity whereas vaping can be done while simultaneously doing almost anything else. i believe that I'm more habitually addicted than i am to the actual nicotine

I quit stinkies for two full years cold turkey, went through the painful withdrawal, the walking in a fog, time is supended hell for a couple months, then when a really bad event happened, I walked up to the first smoker I saw, asked to bum a smoke and that's all it took. After two years, it tasted great and I enjoyed every last drag. Within a week, I was back to PAD and feeling really bad about what I was doing. Not to mention the shame and anger I was getting at home. When I bought my first real system - ego-T, I threw my cancer sticks out and haven't had one in over two years. I know me too well. All it would take is one and I simply can't - NO WON'T permit that to happen.

I haven't smoked a cigarette since I started vaping, but I did light one for hubby the other evening because he was busy doing something. I didn't take in enough to tell anything about smoke production, but I did however notice the taste. At first I was like oohhh, but it quickly turned to EEWWWW!!!! Left quite the nasty taste in my mouth. lol

i agree the amount of smoke is disappointing compared to vaping but there's something about cigs thats so different that i crave that vaping cant satisfy . but i have been vaping since February and have only smoke around a pack of cigs so i think vaping is doing good enough lol

You may want to look into WTA liquids. There is a thread about them in the E-liquid Forum, and Aroma and Whole Cig are the suppliers. It's what did the trick for me after over a year of struggling to quit while vaping.

This!!! For the record, I haven't actually smoked one in almost a year. The only times that I have REALLY wanted one were when I was really angry and not at something specific, but at the world in general. Because I think that there is nothing harmful about vaping, it doesn't have the whole middle finger to the world that I sometimes felt while smoking. Not even with a 26650 and a lower ohm dripper. Oh well, I'll live. (pun intended) lol

Only real issue I've had since starting vaping is going back early from breaks at work lol. I used to smoke 2 cigs and I would know it's been 15 min now I'm out for 5 and go back in and the person covering me says dude you still have 10 mins

I have this same problem! Telling time without cigarettes is a hard adjustment.

The fact you're not smoking, while living with a smoker is amazing. I'm lucky, my partner never smoked and hated that I did. I'd be in a heap of trouble if I lived with a smoker. The attraction of cigarettes is too strong. But staying a non-smoker at this time is a stronger desire.

I find it interesting that smokers still try to offer me a cigarette. Often perfect strangers do. I work in an office next to a hotel. I still go outside to vape as I enjoyed the breaks when I was a smoker. Almost daily a stranger offers me a smoke. And when I ask why, they say they know someone who vapes, but always bums one. I tell them I don't bum them, nor do I want one, but I do thank them even though I think they're just trying to make themselves feel less bad about themselves for smoking.
