I know! Isn't it wonderful! :)

I never did like the smell of stale old smoke and never smoked inside any home of mine since about 1 year into college. I do still enjoy the smell of tobacco and some cigarettes, good pipe and rolling tobaccos (most) and some cigars, but over that smell is very short lived. The lovely ashtray smell is the worst of the worst and the stale smoke smell that seeps in to clothing and rooms over time is just a milder version of that ashtray smell. Don't miss it. I've had a few drags here and there since quitting about 6months ago and for the most part disliked it immensely. Still haven't had one of my old rollies that I smoked regularly, though I've rolled one twice now intending to smoke and both times I forgot about it, literally. Clearly I've moved on. You will (and have) too. Enjoy the scents and tastes you're about to rediscover. :)

It's been two weeks since I began vaping and since I quit tobacco cigs completely.

When I was coming home tonight, I had to walk by a bar that is nearby my apartment, and there was a small group of people standing outside and smoking. There is almost always a small group of smokers standing outside this bar.

I had to walk through the group to get to where I was going, and I immediately noticed how foul smelling the smoke is. I'm addicted to nicotine, but I'm definitely not addicted to that nasty smell. If cigarettes tasted like dog poo, people would still smoke them, because I don't think that it's the taste that most people crave. They just need to get their fix.

I was vaping on my e-cig while I was walking by them, and I just smiled. Just two weeks ago, I would have been walking by these same people and puffing on a regular tobacco cig.
