Thanks Proudlion - I'm down here in the Ft Lauderdale area...just waiting on hurricanes this time of year The Elegant is back on the charger - will wait til midnight to see if the wall charger light turns green...that will give it a full 2 hour charge...It does give a lot of vapor - and I noticed different flavors give off different amts of vapor and TH...my very fav is Awesome Vapor's Cream - first one is the morning, mixed with their Special Roast Coffee, but always go back to Cream by itself... switch up to RY4 in the evening and end the night with Cream...

One more thing - I charged the Elegant - the USB light turned green, but the wall charger stayed red??? Is this normal?

Phyllis, not sure about the red light on the wall charger means. Will be curious to see what you say about it today. If this continues and does stay red after charging is complete, I would shoot Frank an e mail or give him a call. He is a delight to talk with and is most generous with info.

As far as cartos go, there are definitely some funky tastes out there! LOL
I use Cappuccino Smooth from MyFreedomSmokes in the mornings along with Belgian Waffle from VaporRenu and find them quite good. I use blanks most of the time now and I get those from Steve at V4L and Ben at Vapornine.

Hi PhyllisJ - I'm also an Elegant user - it charges much more quickly, about half the time, than a standard V4L or any KR808D-1 battery. Mine is ready to go again within less than 2 hours. I cannot answer your light question with authority - I'm just a regular vaper - but if your light on the USB has changed from Red to Green - You should be good to go.

Don, I too think I've read every post you've made. Great blog! Meeting you would indeed be a highlight! I've been vaping since April 1st and haven't looked back.

I'm in Polk County - as close to Orlando as to Tampa - Suncoast Vapers is having a meet-up on Saturday, Oct 9th, in Tampa - if you're up this way ......

I am in Flagler County! I'm about an hour and fifteen minutes from Orlando and more like 3.5 hours from Tampa.
I would be interested in an Orlando meet-up. I know of one other vaper who would also be interested as she lives in the Orlando area.

Does this for me too. I don't think that ever changes. Just the one on the USB charger. I love the fast charging time.

Glad to hear the funny taste is gone too.

Thank you all for your kind remarks about my posts! [The only downside is that my hats don't fit. Only teasing: I don't wear hats, so my swelled head doesn't bother me.]

BTW, Frank now sells gold cartos! I am still addicted the the penstyle atomizer. The 2.5 and 2.0 ohm LR 801s (with 901-to-801 adapter) work great on the Elegant.

I have had the Elegant for a couple of weeks now - charged it when I first got it - and I have several batts so I don't use this constantly...keep wondering when it will need a charge...will the blue light flash when it does? Still hard to get used the manual aspect of it...I sit here drawing on it and forget to put my finger on the button LOL...but it does give off a lot of vapor and it's a great looking batt and it does change the flavor on some carts...I'm very happy with it and if they come out with an auto version I will be the first in line to order it...
