Hi there. Westside Cincinnati. Good to know other vapors are here. I've been to the AltSmoke store in Columbus. While there I met another guy from the East Side, but we didn't exchange info. I might be interested in joining a local group.

Hey guys I live in Newport and thought I would check in and say hey. Also I'm not sure if you guys are aware but there is a new store open in the Eastgate area. They sell Totally Wicked, Ginger's E juice, Halo and Johnson creek juice. They also have some Totally Wicked hardware. I thought I would pass on the info if anyone is interested.

My wife grew up in Northside.
Used to work in Eastgate.
I remember when Newport used to be rough.

2 pad smoker here for 20 years. Current cardiac patient and happily converted vaper, feeling better than I have in years. I love smoking so much that even heart disease wouldn't get me to quit... Thank God I found vaping!!

Have you heard that Altsmoke is soon to open a storefront and vape lounge in Eastgage? Could be a logical place to meet up and start a Tristate Vapor or Greater Cincinnati or Southwest Ohio group.

Yep, spoke with Dimitri (?) on the phone before I drove up there last week and he told me all about the eastgate store....just waiting for that to happen, and with most things vape related.... Waiting for it to get here...haha!

Seriously, when they open up, we need to organize something or otherwise coordinate a time to meet, greet, and fog out with other like minded vape enthusiasts. I feel like my wife and I are on an island most of the time around here...

That will be a nice addition to the area. I make my own juices but it would be good to have a local place to go buy other supplies. The first place I was thinking of holding a meet kind of fell through. I met a fellow vaper in northside that is opening up a bike (bicycle) shop by the end of the month that will have some seating and a large screen tv that offered up his shop to meet. So if that works out I am thinking of doing it within the first couple weeks of march.

Did Dimitri provide any info on the progress? Any guess of when they will open their doors? Location other than near Jungle Jim's?

I wonder if he will be one of the staff that drives down from Columbus to staff or organize the Cincy location?

No, he didn't go into details on the exact location, only that it was going to be a couple more weeks. He did say that they finally gave up on the Hyde Park location, so they decided to move on. I didn't get to meet him in CBus, I got there later than expected but he was real nice on the phone and seemed very enthusiastic about the new store. It sure kinda sucks waiting for something to happen.
