Cisco 306 - tight draw on VMOD XL

I bought the $20 special at Avid for 2 306 attys and an XL drip tip. Everything fits fine but draw is way tighter than on my Cisco 510. The atty works pretty well on my Vamo. Is there a fix for this? A narrower drip tip? I know lots of people love this atomizer on the VMOD XL, so what's different in my case?

Here is everything I'm using, relative or not, so no one has to ask later.

VMOD XL, Cisco 306 atty, XL derlin drip tip, Vapage and AW protected 18650s, 50/50 juice.

You are correct, that the draw is a little tighter between the 306 and the 510. This is part of the reason I prefer the 306 atty. 510's are just too airy for me. It is all about the length of draw you take. I prefer the shorter pulls and feel I get much more vapor and throat hit with the tighter draw. With the 510, I have to take a much longer draw and the vape isn't as enjoyable for me. It's all about personal preference...
