Is there any particular way to prime Cisco atties?
This is the first time I'm going to to try them out so I don't want to fudge them up. Ordered 1.8 and 2.0 ohm LRs and planning to use them on my REO Grand.

Be gentle and start off with shorter puffs waiting in between them for the atty to cool... Re drip first sign loss of flavor...

Cisco 1.8 is the heart of that beast. cisco 1.5 was too low, cisco 2.0 was too high. 1.8 was absolute heaven.

I prime every Atty by filling it up above the bridge and letting it soak, this insures your wick and inner's get primed well and not a chance of burning anything up. Let it sit like this with a carto condom on the threads so it doesn't leak, once it's sat for a while put it on the mod and go like xxxx

for you guys dripping on 306's, do you debridge and dewick them? i keep hearing about these attys and i think its time i give them a try.
DONT de-bidge them... !!!!! No need... And could definitely be counter-productive...

I de-bridged all of mine and believe it or not, they work even better. They are easy to de-bridge. Just cut the wick on each side and it just sort of falls right off and then pull the bridge out one leg at a time ( the only way it"ll work ) Good luck and get ready for some MAJOR vapor. It also makes dripping much easier because you'll then have a hole to drip into instead of dripping on top.
Indeed, and this may translate into a more consistent vape, maybe warmer, etc. etc. There is a series of PROS, trust me I know, and while some may prefer this, may not be a GOOD piece of advice for a person who is unaware of the 'risks' involved, for the downsides; such as ending up with an atty which will eventually be only good to drip one drop at a time; likely to 'spit' hot liquid on you, etc, may very well outweight the advantages... So, may be OK to share our experience and views, but I think it should be warned that debridging may not be that 'safe', or that much of an improvement with no disadvantages associated to it in return...

Can't say I have ever noticed a marked difference between the debridged ones and non. I definately killed 2 debridging them before I figured out how to do it, then ordered some more that were already debridged from the factory. Not a big deal.
I have to say I was not too enamored with the bridgeless atties too. Sputtering, splashback, airy vape. These were factory de-bridged. De-wicking, I would say yes. De-bridging, not so much.
Are you guys talking about factory debridged 306's? If so, where'd you get them. The main reason I haven't liked any 306 atty's I've tried is that the draw is way too stiff...even after opening up the holes. Debridging a 510 fixes stiffer draws so maybe it would help on a 306...
I guess I need to clarify and say that my preference is to debridge. I vape exclusively with my Phidias and it's a bottom feeder. I don't DRIP so I don't have "spit" issues. I debridge because it makes an easier draw and the vapor production is increased. I only drip right after blowing out my atty (maintenance reasons) etc.. HUGE vapor is a must for me. I only vaped at 6 volts before low resistance came around. When I started vaping about the best you could get was a mega 510 battery. Low resistance was unheard of and so was bottom feeders and no one dared to take apart an atty. It was like way back when dial up internet was the thing to have..lol...I'm not trying to tell anyone whats right or wrong, it's all preference and I've been doing this long enough to find my "groove" I guess you could say...
Agreed; de-bridged atties are better IMO for bottom-feeders...
Then again, 'backsplash' protection such as the one provided by many drip-tips could compensate for the risks of getting hot liquid into your mouth which are not associated with direct-dripping but heat; and even though bottom-feeders reduce they wont fully terminate this risk.
As you say IT IS a matter of personal preference after all...

So I tried a Cisco 1.8ohm 510 LR atty with some BWB Honey Flue Nut on my REO Grand last Tuesday evening.....loved it!
Delicious flavor came out... very distinct and crisp with lots of vapor. Thought that this was the start of a love affair with the 1.8.
But 2 days after, I can hardly taste the honey flavor which was very distinct at first. The flavor is very very weak. Blew out excess juice and dripped on top, still the same..
Any ideas as to what happened?

Sounds like the atomizer coil is gunked up. Read some of the threads on how to clean an atty. Dry burn methods and ultrasonic jewelry cleaners seem to be the most popular right now. You can also just soak it in vodka or run it under very hot tap water and blow it out.
It could also just be your taste buds. Try gain tomorrow or use another flavor and see if that is muted too.
