Clapton coil (twisted 30 with spaced 30 wrap)

Wasn't liking the higher ohmage (1.9) of the last 30/30 clapton so I spun this up. 2 ply twisted 30 core and a spaced 30 wrap. Did the spaced 30 by wrapping 2 pieces of 30 in parallel then stripped one of them. 4 wrap coil on a 3mm screwdriver came out to 1.2 ohms. I then wicked it with the Truwick method (strip of the tougher outer part of japanese cotton over the top of the coil). Better flavour, less ramp up time, and longer battery life. Perfect!

FYI I'm using all this 30 gauge as I've got a 300ft spool lol

do a length of claptoned 30 on 30 then clapton that onto your 30.

sometimes if you dont do a long enough length of the first clapton you can always pull the ends to make gaps and the wrap something inbetween that like a helix as i have with this below..
this will show you what i mean, i used ribbon but you could use anything..
