Clapton coils for MTL

I've been building for a while and I always use 28g Kanthal. I'm a die hard MTL vaper. I don't do sub ohm or temp control. I hear Claptons are better for flavor, but I don't know if they're suitable for my vaping style. Can I use them for builds above 1 ohm in MTL tanks? If so, what type of pre-made Clapton wire should I buy? Thanks in advance!

Not sure but due to wire mass and low airflow it may not be a good match. I would go with higher gauge wires to limit the mass and ramp up time.

Vandy Vape has just introduced their Superfine clapton wire for mtl vapors. It is available in both ss and nichrome version. Dealers seems to just begin getting stock. I intend to give it a try next month as I have many single coil tanks.

The stainless SS 316L Wire 28/32 Gauge Stainless Steel clapton from Kbee comes out at around .65 ohms in 6 wraps at 2.5 comes out at .65 ohm so I assume the same wire in Kanthal would easily do 1.2 ohm or better.

I think the difference is that this new Vandy Vape stuff is claimed to be multi-strand superfine clapton. How much of that is real and how much marketing we shall see.
