Vape3D makes one and it looks promising.
Should I get one or is there a better way...or a better jig? Can you do fused wire with it?

I'm wanting to get into some exotic stuff so I'm going to start at the bottom. There's some options that LV doesn't have like flat wire clapton and 24 guage fused.

Also, who do you get your wire from?

You're far better off learning how to clapton wire or fuse wire etcetc using your hands, all you would do is hold your thumb against your forefinger with your wire that will be the clapton between them and as its feeding onto the main wire you would let the main wire roll in that groove you've made with that thumb and forefinger and you'll feel the wire as its being claptoned pushing your fingers along, even if you don't move your fingers along with the clapton on the main wire the main wire will continue to be claptoned so long as you are pinching the wire to be claptoned between your fingers tight, But the thing to do is move your hand a long with the clapton going on the main wire.

The same works for claptoning two wires.

Yes ribbon.
I know claptons aren't exotic.

For now I just want some fused ribbon or just something really wide but my understanding of alien wire is that I need to pull the cores out of the clapton first.
There is no such thing as fused ribbon dude. And you pull one core out of a Clapton. There is no multi cores in a Clapton. As slip said - learn claps first. They're beyond easy. You don't need swivs for larger gauge

Yeah, it took me till today to find the definitions.
Staple...that's the word.
And yeah, I'll make a 24/36 clapton first, then try fused 26.
If I can (which I'm sure I can) I'll jump on a framed staple, then staple.
If I can't, it'll be the first thing I've found that I can't do with my hands.
Sorry for the confusion.
