and it gets easier. 28ga wrapped in 36. 0.14ohm. even with the little gaps I'm finding these coils to be great.

Life got better when I got my Daedalus by Avid Artisan. Got it new for $49.99 from Canvape. Could not even buy a cordless drill for that kinda money. May be a slow spinning drill but hey, I got the time. Comes with swivels, C-clamp and the whole nine yards. If I need speed I have an electric drill. I get the 1/4 inch Keyless chucks for under $5. on the slow boat. I normally do double or triple core. CHEERS!

Made my first coil with the new swivels today. Got almost half way with the wrapping yesterday evening and the battery was flat. I will charge at once from now on, when I notice it getting weaker. :)

Owner P-17 Ball Bearing Swivels Size 2 (Ebay) are much better than the Berkleys.

S316L, 28g x2 and 42g wrapping. And I thought 38g was fragile...
