I do know the community is VERY GENEROUS for the most part. I saw a Hell Raiser for trade for just junky ego's!!!!

If I had an award I would give it to whomever that was!!!!!

vaping is karma amigo! You get back what you give in this community eventually.

I don't let stuff like this bother me ... just gotta stay content and think about whats around the corner.

Who knows where we will be in 5 years. For all we know those "exclusive mods" could be worth scrap metal by then. Stay calm and vape on! ;-)

Free not to buy them. Agreed! I think they should develope an alternate classifieds thread for real people who are actually hoping to find a good deal on good condition 2nd hand items. It used to be the way to stretch your dollar. One your buying something from somebody who obviously doesn't want it anymore. Classifieds are way to unburden your wrong choice since returns weren't an option. I hate to see people just plain old taking advantage of that process. So there should be a collectors hard to find in stock classifieds and a regular classifieds. More people would participate in the regular classifieds and it would remove the dark cloud hanging over the present classifieds the way it is. And co ops would go in the regular spot. I wouldn't waste so much time obsessively looking for a good price on something I want and leaving the thread with the same disgusted feeling in my gut. They'll probably lose this thread too because it's in the forum rules to leave classifieds alone re posting remarks on the for sale item. I can understand that! What I'm thinking is not very pretty

You're givin me chills over here talking like that. Hate to break it to ya, but you're human too. Nobody's perfect. I'm not trying to justify the evils of man here, but I implore you to have a heart for your own sake. So long as a person is alive, they still have the power to change. We can and have for all of existence. Sometimes, I wonder if all that we're here to do is learn and grow - both as individuals and as a collective entity. Until the last human being left breathes their last breath, all of humanity will forever be a work in progress.

You could say, "If that's true, then why bother?" I say, "Because it makes things interesting." Life itself is a beautiful as it is ugly and that is what really makes it worth living. It's all a matter of how you choose to see things. The human condition is a curious state of being, isn't it?

And we're not all profiteers, you know... ...a lot of other people find the sort of behavior described in this thread incorrigible and absolutely do not approve. What of them? I think that here of all places, profiteers will not prevail. They may make a little scratch here and there and that is unfortunate, but most people are not going to pay mark up for a second-hand item they can wait to get elsewhere. And those who do obviously aren't doing so at any dire expense. They do choose to pay that price, after all.

People will always try to take advantage of each other, but that doesn't mean they always get away with it.

When your generosity has been taken advantage of as much as mine has, on a pretty consistent basis, by all types of people, you'll probably feel the same way. You can only "turn the other cheek" so many times.

But I'm not here to debate this, because I'm pretty sure it will be futile on both sides. I give anyone a chance, but only one to show their "true colors." I know I'm not perfect either, no one is, but there is a difference between "not being perfect" and going out of your way to screw someone over on purpose.

That's actually a GREAT suggestion.

Having an actual USED sub section could really help people sift through the rift raft.

I feel you. Truly, I do. I've been screwed over more times than I can count.

Holding any of it against them never did me any good though... ...and somehow life has gone on and I have moved on.

Amen to Faylool and tc1.

Im not trying to fight crx over this. This thread is just supposed to be about common courtesy and decency. I didn't get mad at anyone on the classies over an item I wanted, It is just after being a member for so long you see the same people buy brand new mods that they know they can sell for a mark up price.

Just seeing how many people are decent folk and I see a lot of them posting in this thread.

If you agree with the people marking stuff up, go make your own thread.

I bet Ill have more likes here :)

Well. How can find out how many members would be interested? I'm not sure how complicated setting up another site would be or how to manage it. Do you think there would be a concern that it would grow too large and the volunteers would be too busy? I really don't know

That's actually a GREAT suggestion.

Having an actual USED sub section could really help people sift through the rift raft.
