I know, the big debate is whether or not to clean the atomizer, some say yes, others say no. As of late I've fallen into the former rather than the latter category. One thing that I don't see stressed enough though is the importance of cleaning the battery!

It's really a big deal. Every time you flood your atty, that liquid goes up through the hole in the top and into the threading of the battery. It then proceeds to get an electric current shot through it every time you puff. I cleaned mine today and noticed all sorts of buildup on there that was impeding performance.
It's simple too. Just take a Q-tip/cotton swap or even a small piece of paper towel and run it along the threads of your battery. That's all you need to do. Do NOT submerge the battery in any cleaning solution though, the paper towel/cotton swab is enough.
Anyways, hope that helps.
