Reminder: don't forget to clean your threads from time to time!

I just got to wipe the threads of my batteries: it can get really filthy in there! I used a toothpick wrapped in a paper towel. I guess you could get a more thorough clean by adding some alcohol.

I just wanted to share this for those who are forgetful like me and need a reminder

Yeah - I scratched part of the paint off of a battery to indicate it was the one that was going bad... Ended up that it wasn't fully charging because it was full of gunk.
And of course, when one DID die, it wasn't the one that I uglied up...

Oh. Yeah, I see that now. Yuck. A quick scrub with a damp tissue and the draw is MUCH improved, thanks!

It helps to do the same thing on the charger connection too. Just don't get it too wet - I use a tiny bit of IPO on a Q tip.

I clean my eGo T Mod daily...I use it heavily. It does help with the draw. The other batteries I try to clean once a week at least. It's always such a surprise how improved the vape is when the batteries are clean! lol! I use a little isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball and/or and Q-tip. I also dip a needle into the alcohol and clear out the little holes by the threads (on the battery for KR808 and on the cartomizer on the 510). Helps a lot! Also good to keep the connection in your chargers clean too!
