Cleaned cartomisers taste awful. Suggestions on better ones to buy?

I've tried cleaning cartos every way possible and they might be good for another day and then tight draw. Because you own a 510 cig sized PV be careful about the ohms you use- too low and you may fry the batt while too high and you'll get a weak vape.
If looking for a clearo Vision Nano Clearomizers (sorry ECF blocks the website)
are highly rated for your battery IF they're 2.2 ohms. I know there are some Nano 2.4 ohms floating around and that's too high. Email the vendor and ask what ohms they are. They are also the same diameter as your PV and look cool.

Best of Luck

here is the link to these

Vision Nano Clearomiser £2.95 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

mine test at 1.8 ohm and work great on 510 batts - last about 14-17 days (the nanos - not the batteries)

rebuildable would be the mini vivi nova

The carto you cleaned were probably fine. You just have to remember that it's then like having a new carto and you have to allow them to soak for a bit.

Usually only high heat ( which you don't have) or lack of soaking will burn a carto (even a clearo).

If your budget is tight, skip the dark, sweet juices. If you use a light juice, and clean at least weekly, and allow to dry a couple days, cleaning will work better.

Apparently even if I use the clearomiser and I clean them, I still have to replace the head, which cost like a cartomiser...
Is there anything that you can use without buying again, but just cleaning?

    Rebuildables.

Any RDA would be perfect, except for one problem all of them are out of the question with your current cig-a-like battery.

I just picked up one of these plungers today. They work ok so far I have tried on a couple of older cart's and some brand new ones I just filled to see the difference of cleaning a carto and switchig juices. I cant see how a carto would last you forever though. Maybe try a rebuilable like an AGA T2 I have heard of some people going a month or two withour having to rewick and just cleaning it out with warm water every couple of tanks.

Lol, I have one of those in a drawer still unused. Prices on cartos finally came down shortly after they came out. Suppliers were charging us xtra for unwrapped (SS) and even more for Punched. No Free Shipping anywhere.

Combine that with the fact that one or two carto out of ten were bad and no warranty available, And they came out with many carto killing juices also.

So yeah, back then many were cleaning cartos and dry burning attys, and it was worth it to do so.

Basically every time I change juice I need to replace the head right? But the head is expensive. More expensive than a cartomiser. Not possible to clean it?

So many items mentioned I don't know what you're referring to. Also many of the suggestions are really not compatible with your PV.

Here I mean that every time I change the juice in the clearomiser and I clean it with hot water, I need to replace the head of the clearomiser, which is quite expensive.

Forget about my current PV, I'm considering an ego type battery now.

With the clearos for the eGo type PV the heads can be changed and depending on what clearo you buy the heads can last 10+ weeks with maintenance. I pay $1.50 for each head so my costs are 15 cents per week.

One thing to remember is many of the clearomizers with replaceable heads the heads are simple and cheap to rewick/rebuild. I know that is probably over your head right now but know it is possible. SO you can just rinse, dry and store the dead ones for future rebuilding. That will save you money long run. There are many good videos on how to do the rebuilds on youtube.

That said I have several clearomizers that are still on their first head after 6+ weeks of vaping. I give them a good hot water rinse and if I had been using a strong flavored juice maybe a short soak in vodka and they are good to go.
