I have V2 808d batteries I've been using for about a month now. Last night I noticed that I was really having to suck on it to get a decent hit and thought I might need a new clearo. I was swapping batteries when I got to looking at it and saw that all it had was 2 tiny air holes in it and noticed that one of those was completely plugged up with funk.

I got some stiff fishing line and was able to poke through the holes and also scrape a little more funk out of the inside ring. It was like brand new!

Be careful if you do this as you can make contact between + and - if you use a metal object and accidentally fire the battery. You do not want to do that, it will ruin your battery and could be hazardous.

I usually just wipe the battery contacts whenever switching batteries. Switching batteries one day, I noticed the little holes were getting plugged up. A paperclip is too large to clean the holes; so I stripped the paper off a twist-tie and wrapped a tissue around the end to clean the holes without touching metal to metal. Now my batteries are like-new!
