Cleaned Titanium Coils

So vaped 20 mls of Grants on my BillowV2 and the Ti coils were black and crudded out. Dry burnt them and they oxidized to this:

Re dryburned and cleaned and brushed and they came out like this

You should, under no circumstances, dry darn titanium. What your seeing there is a nasty film titanium produces when heated to the point it will glow. Your lucky it didn't catch on fire. Must have been low watts. If your gonna clean titanium then you pulse it to the point right before it glows, never never any more then that.

I wouldn't use those coils. Not saying it's not safe. I don't know. I wouldn't take the chance though. I hope you didn't breath in the fumes while dry burning them :(
