Cleaning 510 Connection

I want to clean my 510 connection on my Provari but don't know what is safe to use on it. I have been taking a q-tip and lightly rubbing the 510 connector and the threads and there a bunch of black stuff coming off of it. Can I use something like a rubbing alcohol while cleaning the connector?

Water on a qtip, alcohol, piece of cotton (wet or dry). The Provari top cap is sealed, there are no gaps for anything to get in there, I've had an entire tank of juice crack on me one, the outside of the mod completely soaked in juice and I just wiped it dry. After a light water soap mix and dry and it fired up like new. You bought yourself a tank, don't worry too much that device will service you for many years to come.

Alcohol works great, and for reference, just about anything shy of industrial strength acids will be just fine, assuming you wipe it out completely.

Yep. 99% alcohol and a Q-tip.

Just wanted to make sure that was okay before I used it.

JMarca I know I shouldn't worry to much but I am weird about keeping my mods/tanks clean but I am also a very clean person throughout my life.
