510 PCC maintenence

Hi all, I just had a question about routine maintenence on my joye 510 PCC. I've had the middle red light come on a few times and it won't charge if this happens and it gets really hot. I've just been taking a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and cleaning the connections inside the case. I think it may be having a problem as every once in a while there is some liquid on the battery connection itself (probably because i sometimes flood the atty). Is cleaning the battery connection and PCC connection all I should be doing?

This type of cleaning of the 510 PCC is the only user end maintenence you can do. Absent that, there is nothing you can do to the PCC's battery and wiring. What you describe, with the unit getting very hot, is not normal for the PCC and you should return it if it is still under warranty.
