so I have this 510 tank atty that I have thoroughly violated in order to remove the spike plate and I ran some hot water on the heating coil. Being that there is no more wicking material or anything else to retain moisture, I don't see a reason to give it any dry time...or would it somehow damage my battery? Logic says that it should be fine, but before I fire this atty up I'd like to check in with yall.

It might be a soggy hit if it's damp but attys love to be wet with juice. I don't get it from a chemistry level. I just know that I rinse my attys out at night in hot water, blow them out well and they're ready to vape in the morning. If I try to vape an atty I just rinsed it tastes soggy no matter how much I blow the water out. It doesn't hurt my equipment to vape with a freshly cleaned atty, just a soggy-flavor/hit issue.

I'm assuming you're using a manual PV with a sealed battery.
