I have many STD and LR vision clearomizers (from several different vendors.) Every 2 to 3 days after I notice the drag getting weak and figure it's clogged, I soak them in vodka for about an hour, then rinse with very hot distilled water. Blow out and shake out excess. Then I do a dry burn till I see the "glow" (several good vids on YouTube on how to do this rinse and dry burn process)...[but I have NEVER pulled out any of the wicks or "innards" to clean them for fear of breaking them]... and then it's like new and ready to go. This process works well except for a lemon flavor I tried once....the flavor is still in that clearomizer no matter how many times I've cleaned and changed flavors LOL.
Just my :2c:

I just purchased a clearomizer, ( LR VISION eGo TRANSPARANT CLEAROMIZER 2.1-2.4 OHM) and i think i made a mistake i put a cappuccino flavored juice in it when i first got it now everything tastes like cappuccino :(

Is there a way to clean these things without doing damage to the clearo? and how long should i expect this thing to last?

I had a simular problem with cinnamon red hot, it was every where, i use royal smokers ce2 ultimates, pulled apart and soaked overnite in rubbing alcohol and peroxide and rinsed with very hot water ,wicks burned on stove, and coil burned in spurts til red ,blowing away ash, sometimes picking with a needle to loosen tough crudd,i also noticed airflow diminished after sometime and have a wire with a crook at the end, the length of the airtube, just short of the coil, which i run into the air tube and turn ,something builds up there as well, thats what works for me...

Yesterday I soaked my clearomizers in 90% rubbing alcohol for a while and rinsed with distilled water, then the dry burn. Works well. Probably cheaper using rubbing alcohol than Vodka LOL. Now if I could only figure out what's up with my ego tanks...they apparently have to be pulled apart before the dry burn, but I haven't tried that yet.
